| Answer: | That depends on the line weight (based on the weight in grams of the front 30 feet of line - that's how fly line numbers are determined). The heavier the line (front 30 feet) the bigger the number for the ine ... and the bigger that number the heavier weight of fly rod it takes to properly cast it ... AND, the heavier the fly line the bigger or heavier the flies it can cast. All of this is basic fly fishing 101 stuff. So a WF9F in this line should work well with a 9 weight fly rod casting big streamers or poppers. |
