Common Problems and Troubleshooting

The receiver suddenly can't get signal from transmitter and doesn't ring.

Reason 1: Reset the receiver by accident so that transmitter is not paired with receiver any more.

Solution 1: Re-pair receiver with transmitter by these steps:

①Plug in receiver and press the chime tune button ( top) of the receiver to select a tune that you like.

②Then press the volume button of the receiver for 5 seconds and hold it, it enters the pairing mode.

③Then press the transmitter until it rings the selected tune.

Reason 2: Low-power battery in transmitter. The less power in transmitter, the shorter range is.

Solution 2: Replace with a new battery.

Please Note:

1. Do not unplug the receiver during pairing transmitter.

2. When you hold the volume button(the lower one) of the receiver, not just 5 seconds, you can try more than 5 seconds and press the button repeatedly, until the receiver match with the button to ring.

Answer:	Hearing impaired can hear sounds of not so hard of hearing they are legally deaf. I should know my self and a large chunk of my family range from just starting to loose their hearing to 110% deaf. This also flashes light at you so you can see it and know it’s alerting you that the door bell is going off.

Its frustrated to tell that no one push the button by my door when I receive flashing receiver, its coming from the other neighbor. Don't purchase if you have neighbors who has same product w/same code number. I will buy a different brand to avoid cross over signal!

Question:	Can I get notifications on my laptop and/or the ability to live view from a pc
Answer:	Currently our doorbell can't receive notification on the laptop and view it in real time on the PC.
Question:	can the doorbell be mounted horizontally
Answer:	There is nothing that forbids the product to be mounted horizontally, all hardware parts still work. However, the picture frame you get from the app will also be that angle as it can not be rotated in the app. So this usage is not recommended! We recommend to place it vertically and, if needed, use the angle mount to adjust the angle. Thank you!
Question:	Can I use 128gb sd card
Answer:	Not recommended. You can use an SD card that doesn't exceed 64GB, but 128GB is not recommended as it may slow the read and write speed.
Question:	Is this weather resistant
Answer:	The doorbell is IP65 waterproof and can endure the temperature -20°C to 50°C. So basically it can survive mild rainy days, hot days, and some snow days. But if you are using it in a cold area, we'd suggest hardwiring, as cold weather may cause the battery to drain quickly.
