It's hard to understand the fit without pictures.. make sure the baby's head is in the middle. Try adjusting the straps tighter or looser to see if maybe that helps? Answer:	Wish I could tell you. I thought the cheaper infantino was more comfortable on the back it has an x pattern for support this has the strap that goes horizontally. I'm having problems with that right now hurting my lower back. My daughter is 20lbs right now so I just carry her in my arms at this point. I'm 6ft male. 180lb. So all I'm saying is that the back support really does make a difference if you are a woman. My wife has been using it still, but her lower back hurts because she can't carry her in her arms all day. Try the cheap one first at your local babies r us. If you don't like it return it.

Answer:	I'm currently a Target size XXL in tops, size 20-22 in bottoms and I found this carrier extremely comfortable. It is adjustable in all the places I need it, and I have no problem getting enough strap extension. It's my favorite (of 6*, sadly, and most way more expensive, argh). My husband prefers the Infantino Newborn Unison because it has straps that cross in the back, and its stretchy fabric feels super comfortable and... maternal/paternal somehow - and holds the baby closer to the body than any of the others (our kid pushes back a lot). The biggest worry is that eventually the Convertible's thin strap padding (come on, at this price point, something has to be less than perfect!) will wear out - but I found a backpack strap wrap for extra padding, so this is still top for me. *Baby Ktan, Onya Outback, a water moby-like wrap, Infantino Mei Tai, the 2 listed above, and I tried a friend's Ergobaby

Question:	Are the tags on the should straps supposed to be up and show or be down and touch your shoulders underneath
Answer:	The tags on the waistband go against the body. The shoulder strap tags do kind of show but once the baby is in place, since the straps r soft it will kinda twist outward.
Question:	Is there an extender for larger moms and dads
Answer:	Yes, there is an extender that goes around the waste. Everything else fits all sizes. I’m just not sure how large the waste extender goes.
Question:	Is this suitable for the summer time
Answer:	I used mine during the summer. It does get warm though, but that's just the nature of any carrier like this. With two bodies being so close and covered the body heat does make it fairly warm.
Question:	Has anyone used this with an older/heavier baby? Mine is just over 14 pounds, and I don't feel like this is supporting him enough
Answer:	I still use this carrier with my 18 pound baby and she is still very supported and comfortable in it

Question:	How does the cooling mesh work with infant insert
Answer:	I have had two different Gemini carriers, the first one was limited edition Travis in black with a white tiger design. I soaked it in white vinegar before I washed it because another reviewer recommended it so the black wouldn't fade. It worked; I washed it three or four times and no fading. The black fabric did show lint like crazy. I closed the strap in my car door by accident and it got ripped off by my tire, such a stupid and expensive mistake! I bought the River Expresso design to replace it and soaked it in white vinegar again. Washed it a couple times, maybe 3, and it looks good. Doesn't attract lint like the black. I wouldn't recommend black fabric just because of the lint. With both I air dried them, and never put them in the dryer.
Question:	How does this fit for a plus size adult

Question:	Are the inside of the straps mesh
Answer:	Yes! I am 5'11", size 22 top and 26 bottom, about 44" waist and 55" lower hips, and the original Gemini (without the pocket on the waistband) fits with waistband room to spare. I wear it with the waistband fairly high because I find that comfortable, but I did try it sitting on my hipbones and it still had room to spare. I have not tried the newer Gemini with the pocket, but the listed measurements are similar. I wore mine with my baby up through 18 months, and only stopped because of the cold weather and the fact that she enjoys walking. Now that it's getting warmer and we may walk on longer trips again, I plant to try it and see how it works with a larger and heavier child. My only complaints were the lack of pocket (fixed) and the location of the chest clip for back carry, because it sits too close to my neck and is only slightly adjustable.
