Once you've done it onetime it's very easy. There are several types of wrapping methods for sleeping newborns, nursing, older infants, facing mom's body, facing out, or a hip position. It's easy to put baby inand out and frees hands for household activities which are so hard to get to with a newborn. And it doesn't matter if you have sleep deprived iq!

Answer:	there is no newborn insert that I know of, but it worked for my daughter at about 6 months. You can wear it forward or backward, the instructions suggest only forward up to a certain weight, but i found after my daughter could hold her head up on her own good it worked well in both directions.

You can carry baby on your front or on your back with a woven wrap. Have a spotter help you if you do a back carry. I always did the simple carry shown in the picture. I think that is called the cross carry.
