Answer:	When in split screen, the audio you will hear is from the camera the monitor is set on at this moment. You will see the set camera marked in RED on top of the screen. This is where the sound will come from. You can either easily switch to the other camera with the "Camera Switch Button" or set the monitor on automatic SCAN mode and it will switch between the cameras every 10 seconds. Hope this helps.
