Answer:	The answer is it depends on what you are looking to accomplish. The product is functional. I tried this on a marble edge in front of my fireplace. Yes, it can adhere, but it offered no impact protection. My children would just careen into it and get just as hurt. This would work on a wall edge that gets lots of bumps or a spot that in abused in an office (like handtrucks or a splintery edge.) So yes it works, but not to protect kids from getting hurt on the fireplace in my opinion. I would look for something with cushion like pipe wrap. I normally don't answer these, but I have kids that are intent on learning the hard way. If my advice helps prevent a trip to the er for some little one, I am happy. I am sure many perople will disagree with me; so ask: what's level of physicality in your home and what is the liklihood that this will actually be impacted? Good luck!

Answer:	I do not believe they will withstand the sun, rain, or overall outdoor exposure to elements. The adhesive used to attach the corners may not continue to "stick".

Answer:	Absolutely. The “cup” of the wall protector is wider than the “foot” on the gate that extends to it, however, it fits very securely and the gate is rock solid. We use it to keep our very active/very strong German Shepherd puppy in the kitchen and there is no chance of her knocking the gate over.

Now, I cannot predict after how many extensions the mechanics would be poor enough to knock it easily off with a hit in the middle, but I would imagine that using it with 2 instead of 1 extension should be fine...

Answer:	Thank you for your question. The width of the door opening is 17 inches.

Answer:	I pressure mounted mine. I think it also came with holders that could be screwed into the door frame.
Question:	How high are the bottom parts (my husband says "bumpers") that grip the wall?? We have wooden molding going around our floor and it is 3 & 1/2" high
Answer:	Thank you for your question. For your 59" opening you will need to purchase three additional extensions - (2) 10.5" extensions and (1) 7.25" extension.
Question:	Can you go in and out of the gate? I do not see an opening
Answer:	Except for the two main uprights, Each vertical bar is 0.50” diameter. The space between each bar is 2.5”

Answer:	Thank you for your question. The brackets on the gate which attach to the wall mounts are fixed and are not adjustable. This gate needs to be flush to the floor when mounting. Mounting it in any other manner not only presents a tripping hazard with the threshold bar but will cause the door panel to not be square, resulting in a nonfunctioning latch.
