Generally why things become lose is because they can move alreay (on a very small scale) which allowed the screw to move backwards and open. To avoid this you can try to tighten it stronger. Sometimes that is the solution. But remember that it will break at a certain point. Usually it is difficult to exhibit that kind of force in a restricted location like you will have with the faucet. Another approach is to use locktite screw locker on the nut. If you decide to do that keep in mind that it will make opening the nut very difficult after the glue was applied. EnjoY! |
