Answer:	Yes it should work. Adjust the strap length according to the position of your TV to ensure that it's taut. Please note that the product prevents forward tipping, not backwards.

Answer:	The straps and metal parts would give some protection. The big problem would be the wall anchoring. What would you be screwing into? Wall anchors would tear out in a big quake due to the weight of the refrigerator. And even if you screwed into 2 x4 joists, these might shift and break in a big quake. I'd just keep g;lass items on the bottom shelf if you're concerned. And watch dutchsinse on YouTube. His earthquake forecasts by area are highly accurate.
Question:	Would this hold up in a 9 magnitude earthquake? We are preparing for "the big one
Answer:	The screws need to be secured on a solid wood surface that is at least 3/4" thick. Please kindly check if the grandfather clock fulfils this. If it is an antique grandfather clock, you might also want to check with a clock repairman to find out if this is the best method of securing the clock.

Answer:	It should work on a 46 inch TV. To be on the safe side, I recommend you check that the distance between the VESA holes and the position on the wall/TV stand where you'll be mounting the the anchor is less than 31 inches. If it is, then you're good to go. Hope that helps!

In recorded history (source wiki), there have only ever been 7 quakes recorded at 9.0 and above. I highly recommend you use the quake-hold 4520 straps ... big screens don't need earthquakes to fall over and injure / or kill a person or beloved pet.
Question:	Do you need to make actual holes in the tv for the screws
Answer:	No, but typically you worry about the TV falling forward onto the viewer -- backwards, the TVs are usually back near a wall; if they fall backwards they don't fall on anyone. There are also smaller straps that could be attached to the feet of the TV stand to prevent it from falling backwards. Of course, if the TV is on a stand, the whole stand could fall over in a bad enough earthquake. These devices just make it less likely.

Answer:	Most HD/Flat Screen TVs have screw holes in the back to match up with a bracket for hanging on a wall for people who want to hang their TV. You screw the end of the anti-tip strap with one hole in it into one of the 'bracket holes' on the back of the TV using the correct sized screw that came with the straps. There should be 2 or 4 bracket holes on the back of the TV - install the straps to the highest set of bracket holes on the back of the TV and screw the other end with 3 holes into the back of the top of your TV stand -which should be a solid piece of material at least an inch or two thick. Question:	Will this work for a 85" inch samsung tv? Im plan to attach to the tv stand
Answer:	It would tip over backwards because the straps are flexible. This setup is best for people that put the tv against a wall or an entertainment center with some kind of a back.

Answer:	Hello, plywood should be fine as long as it's not super thin or not inferior to the rest of the piece of furniture. It should not be mounted to fiberboard or other very cheap backing. If it feels like you could rip a screw straight out of the material with pliers it will likely not hold if the furniture were to tip over. Hope this helps

Answer:	Perhaps I do not understand the question, but I have a plasma screen TV which is not wall-mounted...so it is sitting on a table, and I (quite easily!) attached one end of the anti-tip straps to the back of the plasma screen and the other end of the straps to the sturdy table upon which the plasma screen sits. The straps affix to the back of the screen near the top (so, nowhere near the mounting platform of the TV) and the other ends affix to the table edge, as in the photo...and they only take up a tiny bit of room at the edge of the table (so there is still plenty of room for the base of the table top mount).
