Answer:	I have bought about 3 months. These furniture wall straps have releaved the stress and worry when boys 2 and 4 years old love to climb.In place for several months for 6' tall bookcases in one room and 4' tall in another boy's room. These shelves are fiiled with books. With the straps on both sides, the bookcases won't come down. I think it's important to balance the load by ensuring that both sides are strapped equally on both sides or equally at the rear of the object.

Answer:	There have good thread so they wouldn’t crack any worse then any other high quality screws. For soft wood, it’s always a good idea to pre drill it.

Answer:	6 sets There are 12 brackets total; however, you will need 2 brackets (one placed on the wall another on the peice of furniture) to anchor down. I had a larger China cabinet and used a total of 4 brackets (2 were screwed on the cabinet and 2 were used on the wall) to anchor down the left side and right side. I have a total of 8 brakets left. Answer:	There are two possibilities I guess. If you mean a pilot hole for screws into wood (furniture or stud), than something > 1/8" (3mm). I would test out on scrap to insure that it would hold, not strip out or split item drilling into. If you mean for the sheetrock/drywall inserts than ~1/4" (6mm).

Answer:	My TV is quite a bit smaller than 70" but the straps adjust with a lot of slack. I see no reason why they wouldn't work for your TV. The key is anchoring the other end of the strap to a wall, the furniture, etc.
