Answer:	Not plastic. It’s paper with a slight coating that’s a bit water resistant underneath. (Not waxy but not all our plastic). I will not use in a public restroom seat that is already wet so I am not sure how it handles wetness coming from underneath. It does get wet if there is liquid coming from top but it resists hitting sit. You can’t flush down toilet. Too big. It will jam. Not like the tissue paper seat covers at all.

Answer:	I've had several over the years- handy for cold seat in a mountain cabin! Or an older house w/chilly bathrooms. Turn the cover inside out, then lift the seat halfway. Placing the ring under the seat (it will stay there), pull the fabric tube up through the opening to the top. Stretch the fabric up & over top of the seat, fitting the elastic under the outside edge all around. Done. It doesn't seem like it would stretch far enough, but will fit most seats. On the underside, there's usually a little overlapped opening in the fabric, find it to grab the end of the thin plastic ring, and thread the ring out of the opening to wash the fabric. After washing & laying the fabric flat to dry, thread the ring back in.

Answer:	Remove the plastic ring. My only issue with these is there is not an opening to remove the ring to wash them. If you just snip a few stitches at the point where the ring is connected, you can remove it. Then they go right in the washer. Air dry no dryer.

Answer:	It definitely fits elongated toilet seats. Actually, if used on a round toilet seat, it would smother it. I'm a big guy and have installed a huge elongated toilet and it fits perfectly.

Answer:	The package says they are eco-friendly, but doesn’t specifically mention pit toilets. They can be flushed in a regular toilet and airplane toilets.

Answer:	In the Amazon "See more product details" it states the size: 11.4 x 6.7 x 4.6 inches. The image is a good example. Hole is 10" long from front to back, hole width is 7", (it has a little give to make it a little wider). Width of cover on each side from hole 10" at widest, from back 5", from front is 11.5' . Cover hangs over seat on sides and front. Works great for travel. NOT flushable.

Answer:	Yes . You need just one. I used to pad the other covers with paper towels. But with this cover you do not have to. I love these seat covers
Question:	is it a plastic ( easily tears or get wet) or a plastic based material? can be used for adult on public toilet
Answer:	Not plastic. It’s paper with a slight coating that’s a bit water resistant underneath. (Not waxy but not all our plastic). I will not use in a public restroom seat that is already wet so I am not sure how it handles wetness coming from underneath. It does get wet if there is liquid coming from top but it resists hitting sit. You can’t flush down toilet. Too big. It will jam. Not like the tissue paper seat covers at all.

Answer:	Yes it does. It works on round and oval toilet seats and hangs over the side for little hands to hold the bowl. My daughter is 6 and I still buy this for use of public toilets.
