Answer:	The dimensions provided by the manufacturer are separate. The actual height of the sides is indeed 31", but once the top shelf bins are installed, the assembled height is about 36.5". Big difference when height is critical!

Answer:	It has one hook that would hang in your closet. The hooks rounded and there’s only one so it’s most likely the best and intended place for it. It would fall off of a door or wall.

Answer:	There's probably heavy cardboard between each day. They don't really droop into the compartments below for our 2-year-old grandson's daily outfits, but I'm sure if you put something heavy enough on each shelf, they'd droop. What were you planning to put on the shelves? As a retired teacher, I could have easily used this for sorting lesson plans, papers, etc - but wouldn't have put books on the shelves! Answer:	“Engineered Wood” is likely to be particle board which could be sanded and painted a different color, but wouldn’t be suitable for staining.
Question:	The kids keep pulling the bins out. Could I possibly drill or melt small holes and zip tie them in place
Answer:	I think that's the whole point of them coming out? So that kids can grab one bin at a time. I have my sons all sorted so he has his cars one, play doh one, potato head pieces one, treasure x one, and etc etc it allows him to pull out one bin at a time and when he's done with that he can put it away and grab another. He is 4 so I'm not sure if your kids are younger then that? But it works great doing it this way!! He always knows where to find what he wants and also helps A TON on clean up as he has to put one back before I let him pull out another. Then he can just bring the whole bin to the living room, or my room, or where ever he is going to play. I never thought about the bins NOT being meant to come out.

Answer:	If you don't have the raised edges on the base, there's nothing to keep them from flying off the lazy susan.

Answer:	No it doesn't, but it's nice that the individual sections come out.
Question:	How well does this store crayons? Is it easy for the kids to put away and find crayons in the compartments? Do the crayons fall over easily
Answer:	I removed the cardboard boxes (inserts) from a 96 count crayon box & created a triangle shape within 1 wedge. I filled in the middle with loose crayons (approximately 1 additional box/insert of crayons). Problem solved! No crayons fall over.

Answer:	The dowels are made of metal. The sides are laminated wood and the dowels are metal. All of the pieces are good quality and durable. My 2.5 year old son is hard on stuff and it's held very nicely.
