Answer:	I do not know the rpm, and it does vary with rpm. It seems to match the carbide tools quite well. I have used them on lots of cast iron, as well as steel and aluminum. I use the 90° one mostly with 2" sanding discs, and that also works well.All in all, they have worked well for me.
Question:	Can these be put in drywall without damage to the drywall or do they need to be put in studs
Answer:	No, it only takes tools with a 1/4" shank

Answer:	There is barely any offset from the wall (if you're asking about the thickness of the bracket itself), but as for the ledge the first book rests on, will depend on which model you are buying. There are heavier-duty brackets. I have both. The smaller one is great for mostly paperback books, and the ledge extends 4.75" from wall and 5.25" wide. Height of the backplate is 5.5". For larger bracket, ledge extends 6.25" from wall and 6.5" wide. Backplate is still 5.5".

Answer:	There's a small prong that keeps the book cover in place. So long as the book you pick is big enough the cover will stay up. I've had my shelf installed for over a month and it hasn't slipped once.

Answer:	Each shelf is 32”. The dimensions given are for the entire piece: 18” is height, 32” is length, 6” is depth.
