I didn't understand that the bouncer bars actually slide into the slot and the screw you insert holds them in place. I had to back track a few steps because the picture didn't do the best job explaining the bars go IN BETWEEN the two plastic pieces. I hope that makes sense.

Answer:	I don’t quite understand what you’re asking. But yes, mine was terrible too. The swing sway was so unreliable , the speed would go from very slow to unsafely fast while still on the low setting. They replaced the motor but it still did it !

Answer:	I have the same problem. The dial doesn't provide consistent swinging power. It will start out strong and then die down. If I turn it up, it swings too hard. Totally useless swing feature for us.

Question:	Which would you say is better? This swing or the graco duet glider? I heard the duet glider is slow even at the highest speed
Answer:	I’ve never tried the Duet Glider but this is the best thing I have purchased for my son. You can use it from the newborn stage because it reclines pretty far back. The swinging goes from slow to faster than I would ever use. I haven’t had to use the cry detection yet because my son is so happy with what I set it at. I tested it out and it does pick up the crying pretty quickly though.

Question:	dear seller: I just bought this. While its swinging,every time it changes from forward to back it gives a bit of a click. It doesn't swing smoothly
Answer:	The one I bought is jerky, too. On the lowest setting for the rocking motion, it actually stops for a split second and starts back again. If it wasn't such a pain, I would send this thing back and get something else. I think there is something wrong with the motors in these swings.
