All you need is a) bare speaker wire for speaker connections of any length you desire; b) two RCA plug combo cords, which, in the US, always come as a pack of two, and you will need them both because RCA cords look like “one” cord but with two plugs (one red and one black) on each end; and lastly; c) an RCA “video” cord, which ialways has a yellow plug at each end. Now match each cord to the color plugs on the back of the unit, and then out to your speakers, and the video to your TV. Your TV will now display DVDs played on this unit. Hope this helps. |

This connects to a VHS player S-video outputs, digitizes video output, and sends the digitized signal to companion software running on a PC via a USB port., I've successfully used this to convert many VHS tapes to MP4 files on my PC's hard drive. The companion software provides minimal editing on the captured file so you'll need other software to do any significant editing and to burn the captured video to DVD. If you don't already have video editing and DVD burning software there are many excellent share-ware options you can load.
