Answer:	We used a box spring, you can see about two inches of the top. I just put a fitted sheet over it to look more finished. Love the bed, such a great quality, especially for the price.

Answer:	I used a regular sized box spring and it BARELY peeks over the edge. I purchased a stretch box spring cover in the same shade as my sheets instead of a dust ruffle and it looks great.

Answer:	Yes. We are using it with a Sleep Number adjustable base. I would suggest putting it together in a different order than the instructions state however. We learned that the hard way and had to take pieces apart. It’ll be easier if you put the 2 side pieces and the foot piece together, wrap that around the bed as you are putting it together and then attach to the completed headboard assembly.
