Answer:	I haven't cut up all these yet. No, what I have, I already pre-laundered, and there is No selvage. If you have a serger, you might want to serge all sides of the quarters before you launder them. I didn't and the strings (from cotton) all tangled in the washer and dryer. What a mess to untangle. I have no problem with the cotton pieces themselves very nice color selections. Just rememberr they are cotton, and cotton does ravel. Hope this helps!

Answer:	I think it might. Here is my experience. I used it for my 10month old (20lbs, 24 inches) last month. I also bought it for the airport/plane ride. The pockets were great to keep my stuff (eye drops, chapstick, phone, and vicks for the dryiness of the plane) and the baby's stuff (small toys, teether, some wipes). The baby was comfortable in it, slept most of the flight to and from our destination. The only thing for me in terms of comfort: wear sleeves because the straps irritate the skin (I was sleepless going to our destination) and the straps are long so you may have to tuck them in if you are short like I am (5'2"). This month I have used the back carry option for walks around our block and he likes that as well. '

If it does hurt you, then you need to make sure it’s correctly adjusted to your body. Most times when it hurts it’s because instructions were not followed or it was incorrectly adjusted
