Answer:	Yes! It’s a zipper but the bottom is sewn shut.... imagine a coat with a bottom sewn

Answer:	My daughter is 9 months now and she just started going through the same thing in waking up 2-3x (was sleeping 10-12hrs straight) because she's teething which can also upset her routine and sleep patterns.

Answer:	I don’t believe it would work for a bassinet as the bottom Velcro portion is pretty long and designed to fit a crib mattress.

Answer:	Yes!! I do this. I swaddle his arms in with a swaddle blanket (the miracle swaddle) first and just leave the legs out. Then this Velcro swaddle goes over him with his arms in. He is only 2.5 months so he’s small enough. It would not work on its own to keep the arms in (doesn’t go high enough) but with a swaddle blanket it works fine.

Answer:	This is hard to say. It would depend on the size of the child and car seat. It's a little puffy and the child might have some mobility issues when they are belted in. The hood might also press their head forward. It's nice and warm. My niece loves hers and doesn't seem to mind it when she's in her seat.
