Answer:	Yes it would help. We noticed a difference in our little one even after a week of using it at that same age. We wanted to try this prior to a helmet. After getting this pillow and using it for a while my sons pediatrician said the flat spots had stopped developing. But To remove fmthe flat soot the he already had I had to tke him to therapy where they just massaged his head and suggested ways to keep from developing such as sleeping him on different sides, etc. Showed them the pillow and they ñoved it because his flat spot lays just on the opening so it has no pressure on it. So I would say it does fix flat head. Sorry for the length of this response.
