Question:	Is the back made of plastic
Answer:	No, it’s made of one layer of 100% polyester fabric. It can be machine washed but I’d not risk putting it in the dryer. It hangs dry very quickly. I’ve had others that have a plastic like backing and it came apart in the dryer.
Question:	How long are these bibs (from neck to bottom)? Some bibs pop up above the tray when my kiddo eats & it's SO annoying
Answer:	8.5 inches from neck to bottom. I like these bibs, they are easy to clean, including putting them in the washing machine. They hold up and don't stain. Depending on your highchair they may pop up but I don't feel like that is a problem for me.
Question:	Do these bibs have a fabric backing, with waterproof coating on front? Do they distort when put through the washing machine
Answer:	It's such a good question- it's not like the fabric of the bibs you're talking about. There is no fabric backing, it's all one layer of material similar to "parachute" material. They don't distort when you put them in the washing machine like the fabric backed bibs you're talking about. They're wonderful to wash! I wouldn't dry them though in a drier. I haven't tried it, and I just take mine out of the washer to dry.
Question:	do they fit a toddler
Answer:	I know this is old, but... I just bought these for my 17 month old since everyone said they'd fit a toddler. I should have checked the length though because they're definitely not long enough for my (medium height) toddler. There are better bibs for toddlers, though a bit more expensive. Disappointed in these (would work great for older babies though).

Answer:	We've been using these since our daughter was born, at 7 pounds. They looked comically big on her then, but fit fine nevertheless. She's 3 months and 13.5 pounds now and they still fit her fine. I guess it depends on the baby and the size of his/her neck, but in our case - with a rather average-sized baby - they've been great from the start, and I hope we can continue using them for months to come!

Answer:	Bumkins super bibs are sized for babies 6 months to 24 months old.
Question:	Junior bib b looks like it would be to big for a 1 year old? Is it too long for them
Answer:	I haven’t used the Junior Bib yet, but I have found that the ages listed by Bumkins are pretty accurate, with the age listed for the Junior Bib being 1-3 years. I have found that if anything, the ages listed by Bumkins are HIGHER than those which the bib will accommodate. For example, it lists the Starter Bib as good up till 9 months, but my grandson required a longer bib at about 8 months. If you want the exact dimensions of the Junior Bib, as per the Bumkins website they are 14.5” across, 14” from the neck down, and 16.5” sleeve to sleeve.

Answer:	Hello! Thanks so much for your question. The circumference of the neck on our bibs is approximately 13 inches or 33 cm when adjusted to the largest size. We want to make sure you're happy with our products! If your bibs measure smaller than this, just sent us a message and we would be happy to replace your set.
Question:	Some reviewer's photos show reinforced holes but others don't. Do they have an extra lip of plastic around the holes or not? If not, will they tear
Answer:	Thanks for your question! Our latest style of bibs are exactly as pictured in the official product photos and do not feature reinforced holes. We updated our design to the latest version in December 2019, so the reviews before that feature the old design. The reason we updated our design is because now, the material is much thicker and higher quality overall, and features a finished edge around the trough area - we think you'll love it. Many of our Ava + Oliver customers use our bibs for months to years without any tearing or issues. If they do tear, just let us know and we're happy to resolve the issue for you.

Question:	How do you clean, so that remove food colour from the bibs? It seems that with simply soap and water stains remain
Answer:	Hello! Thanks so much for your question. Our bibs are very stain resistant and can usually be cleaned with soap and water or in the dishwasher. Highly pigmented foods can sometimes leave a mark on silicone products. If this is what you are experiencing, here is something you can try: mix 1 spoon of baking soda with 1 spoon of white vinegar. Apply the solution evenly to the colored area and let it stay for 30 minutes.
