Answer:	Babies shouldn't eat solids until at least 6 months, can sit up steadily, and no longer have the toungue thrust reflex... and then it needs to be fairly thin for the next 6-8 weeks. However, our oldest baby had GERD, and we began mixing rice cereal with mom's milk (to weigh her stomach contents down, and get her off prilosec) when she was 4 months old and she handled it just fine!

Answer:	Gerber has a 365 day maximum expiration. Amazon has a policy of nothing less than 50 days from when you receive it. So it could be 50-365 days, but my experience has always been more that 180 days.
