Answer:	He will not outgrow a car seat and graduate into a booster until he is at least 65 lbs. for average children that takes a few years of growth. Check your local laws, department of transportation or .gov sites will tell you what’s acceptable. This car seat is awesome and simple to install. My child is 27 lbs. rear facing for as long as possible. Protect the head and spine, those are the most important.

For our newborn we use a regular car seat with a click connect base. It will fit in any seat but i notice I still Have a little dent where my sons car seat sits i still Use it though because it catches all the food he eats and all i have To do is dump it in the garbage and place it back in the car. As far as protecting when i remove the carseat the dent does go away it does protect it from scratching my leather seats. It could be a little thicker but i just Put a towel underneath.
