Answer:	My car doesn't have leather seats, but I have two of these covers in my vehicle. They have sat in the hot Texas summer heat for three years and haven't been warped, sticky, or melted at all. I can't imagine that they would behave any differently against leather. The entire cover is rubber, there's no plastic coating on the underside.
Question:	Has anyone used this long term, and taken it out to see if it has negatively affected the leather? I've read reviews that say it messed up the leather
Answer:	I drove my brand new car with a gorgeous leather ( light stone color) interior right off the car lot and to the store and bought this. I used it 5 years in the car up until yesterday when we traded in our car for another leather interior ( this time dark charcoal color). When I took the protector off it looked like no one ever even sat in the seat let alone a car seat! so hopefully we will have the same success in the new car!

Question:	How easy is it to remove the cover for washing
Answer:	I just took mine off for the first time and it was easy. Comes off in a couple different parts and one part wasn't as easy as the rest but way easier then any other carseat I've taken apart. It took about 5 minutes to take it all off. I haven't put it back on yet so not sure how that's going to go. It came out looking new again after I washed it .👌🙂

Answer:	It depends on how big he gets. Since he's already 1, I'd get the Britax Advocate without the rebound bar as the rebound bar is more suitable for infants and it's a little cheaper without the rebound bar. He can sit in the car seat rear facing until he is 40 lbs or his shoulder height is 18.65" and then you can switch to forward facing until he is 65 lbs or 49". My nephew outgrew it when he was 6, but he's on the small size, you should have no problem keeping it until he's 4 or 5.
