One strap goes around your seat's headrest vertically and the other horizontally. I have this mirror for my grandson, so when I take out his car seat because I won't be having him in the car, I unclick the straps and put the whole mirror in the seat to store in my garage until the next week I will watch him. The mirror is easy-peasy to take on and off. (I WISH the car seat was as easy to buckle in!). :)
Question:	How do we place it on the center where there is no headrest
Answer:	Hello RoseMarie, If you do not have a center headrest, you can attach the mirror to one of the side seat headrests, then swivel the mirror to point toward your child in the center seat. The mirror is large enough and the swivel has a large enough range that you will be able to see your child in the middle seat even with the mirror on the side seat headrest. I hope that is helpful. Answer:	I don't know exactly, but I do know that it's not like the one that covers the whole windshield. This one is wider than the regular ones and a long enough to see everything in the back. I personally love it.

Answer:	I have a booster aged child behind my driver seat and I can see her great. If you have a rear facing seat behind you, I suppose you'd see him/her with a mirror in from of them. Does that make sense? It's a big mirror and I love it! I can see everyone in our 15 passenger ford van.
Question:	Our Murano's rearview mirror has the garage door opener button attached to the bottom. Will that still be accessible with this product
Answer:	It would depend on where the button is on your mirror. If the button is on the face of your mirror, then no. It will be covered by the new mirror. If is across the top, back or bottom, it would depend on the location. There are two, i'll call them little arms, on the top and bottom each that hook over your existing mirror that could potentially cover the button. You could attach the Pikibu slightly to one side or the other to go around this issue. Depending on the size of your existing mirror, you may not be able to SEE the button, you may have to feel for it until muscle memory just automatically goes to the button. I wouldn't think that would be a huge deal since half the time pushing buttons like that is done without looking anyway.

Question:	How wide does the spring clip open up
Answer:	The widest it will open is 4 1/2 inches, but I wouldn't recommend clamping it on to something that wide. The widest item I would try to clamp would be 4 - 4 1/4 inches.

Answer:	There's a red knob that you turn that tightens the top and bottom grip onto the rearview mirror itself. It's one piece that just slides behind the mirror and attaches and you tighten the grip on it. It's very simple. I had mine installed in both vehicles in less than 30 seconds.

Answer:	I've 2013 Nissan Pathfinder & it works great for me!!

Question:	Does this mirror fit Kia Optima headrest
Answer:	I can’t speak to whether it will fit a Kia, but I will say it didn’t last long, the ball socket was not sturdy enough and it kept falling down, not to mention little feet hit all the time which didn’t help.
Question:	does this mirror work on nonadjustable head rests
Answer:	Yes, as long as there is enough room to get the strap under the headrest to the back to clip all the straps together and hold it in. My head rests in my vehicle don't adjust making it hard to see my child in the passenger seat. This mirror does a great job at adjusting to where I can see him and it doesn't wiggle out of adjustment which was a fear of mine!
Question:	what if the headrest is not adjustable and I cannot put any strap under it
Answer:	I think one good strap will hold it in place.
Question:	So is it adjustable enough for me to face it towards a rear facing child that is in the middle seat that does not have a headrest
Answer:	Yes. We currently have the car seat in the back middle seat that does not have a head rest. We use this on the back passenger seat. After attaching to the head rest you can move the mirror in multiple directions. We’ve even slid the mirror base to the side a little to get the perfect angle. It works great, would highly recommend.

Question:	Does it work on all vehicles
Answer:	This mirror works with almost all vehicles. Check your rear headrests or your vehicle service manual - if you can manually raise and lower the rear headrests then it should work just fine. It will not work in vehicles without adjustable headrests. The Jeep Wrangler Unlimiteds do not have adjustable rear headrests so this will NOT work with those.
Question:	Does it work in a jeep
Answer:	There must be a lot of Jeep owners asking this. We know the Jeep Wrangler has the wrong headrest type because the headrests are not adjustable. We are not sure about other models of Jeep. Check your vehicle to make sure the rear headrests are able to be adjusted up and down. And check to make sure the headrests have metal posts. If they do then it will work.
Question:	does it work in a jeep
Answer:	It does not work in a Jeep Wrangler because they do not have adjustable headrests. Headrests must be adjustable and they must have at least 1 metal post. Jeep Wranglers have nonadjustable headrests in the back and so there is no place to attach this mirror. It may work in other Jeep branded vehicles, but the Wranglers have unique headrests.
Question:	Why would a clamp be any better than straps
Answer:	Straps become brittle in sunlight. Technically it's the UV-A radiation that does the damage. Glass in vehicles will block UV-B rays but not UV-A. UV-A causes certain types of materials to change on a molecular level - a process called oxidation. All mirror sold with straps are made of the same materials. Materials that oxidize very rapidly with UV-A. The result is straps that break apart during jolts from car accidents. But easy breakage isn't the only problem from UV-A damaged straps. Another problem is that they loosen and become unable to hold tension - so the mirrors jostle around and won't stay in one place. This isn't as much of a safety issue as breakage but it is definitely a bug pain in the rear because you have to try to readjust the mirror during and after every car ride. If you check out the pictures in this listing you will see several real examples of broken and damaged straps - and what is more shocking is that all of these strap failures happened as a result of UV-A oxidation and all of the failures happened in under 12 months from purchase.
