Regarding the smell; by nature, food-grade silicone is odorless, non-porous and tasteless, however for the bunny to be formed into its desired shape it goes through a curing process, which means its heated in an oven for over 4 hours. This heating process can sometimes give off a smell even though it’s not dangerous in any way. This smell does dissipate pretty fast. This teether is organic because it is BPA free Food grade silicone and it does not have any Phthalates, Formaldehyde, or Lead. It has been thoroughly tested and it is not made with any toxic chemicals. I sincerely apologize for this. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
