Answer:	We got the Winkel for our grandson when he was about 4 months old and he enjoyed it a lot for a few months. Now that he's 8 months, he only reaches for it when he wants something to gnaw on (great for teething!) but he doesn't really "play" with it anymore. His favorite early toy is still the Baby Einstein Take Along Tunes. He consistently goes right to this toy whenever he's on the floor or grabs for it on the changing table. He did like the Clack and Slide for awhile, but seems to be already outgrowing it now. Newest favorite toy is quickly becoming our iPads and iPhones. So I guess he's already a tech-a-holic type kid! Question:	How can you be sure that the wooden balls won't pop off while teething? They are the exact size that could make a baby choke
Answer:	This is absolutely the BEST baby toy we ever purchased. It went through 3 children, (first purchased 12 years ago) and we NEVER had anything come apart. Considering that none of our children wanted a pacifier or thumb, and this was their sole choice item for chomping, I can wholeheartedly say this is tested and SAFE. Yes, our babes hit themselves with it -- but no bruises, no sharp edges, and it never happened a second time ;) -- despite that 'trauma' it never ceased being their favorite, and is the one toy I cannot part with (so many memories). :-)
Question:	Does this have a bell on it
Answer:	The Manhattan Toy Company Skwish toy is my favorite baby shower gift to give. The last few I purchased have not had bells on them. I have purchased the natural colored Skwish and primary colored ones and neither colors have had bells. The first Skwish I purchased for my son 13 years ago did have a bell and was a little smaller in size. Have not seen that feature since then.
Question:	How do you clean this toy? I given this toy by a friend and want to give it a thorough clean before giving it to my teething baby
Answer:	Interesting question. We were given some Brio trains that were in long term storage and we are questioning how to clean them. The materials are similar to the Skwish toy. My current research suggests either boiling in water for ten minutes or spraying on a 1/2 water/1/2 distilled vinegar solution. The second sounds like a better choice for the Skwish since it has the rubbery cords that might be damaged by high heat. Good luck. This toy is worth the cleaning effort.
