Question:	how do you set it to mute
Answer:	I am not aware of a feature that let's you mute the sound; however, it is a very low tone that I sometimes have trouble hearing it so I doubt the sound would be very bothersome to you. In addition to being a soft tone, it is very quick tone so again I can't imagine that it would be very bothersome.
Question:	Thermometer did not come with ear attachment. How can I purchase it
Answer:	Just pull off the forehead attachment :) it’s behind it
Question:	Can you change between F and C
Answer:	Yes, temperature reading changes between F and C. The sheet (user manual) enclosed with the product tells you how. By holding the measure button, the unit C and F will switch automatically, release the button when selected unit appears. (This is found under “Installation and instruction”, item 3).
Question:	How do you calibrate this device
Answer:	Calibrated 3 ways: compared with my MD’s forehead thermometer with multiple samples. Used an electronic pen thermometer orally with multiple samples. Used water heated to 98 degrees (using Thermopen) and dip Infrared tip into the water. All measurements were at least 1.2 degrees lower. Also beeper sound never worked. Think I was sent a returned unit

Answer:	What's your question though lol. Yes you can replace the battery. Pull the battery compartment out and Google the numbers to see where it is available in your area. In case you don't know where it is pull the rubber plug out it's located around the exterior of the Thermometer it's self

Answer:	I wouldn't recommend it although I've never tried. I used this model thermometer for several years. Professionally as well as at home in my personal kitchen. The sleeve has a anti bacterial coating. I've never had an issue with cross contamination. I have washed the sleeve in warm soapy water and allowed to dry before storing.
