Answer:	If you get some right on your clothes or car seat it will leave a white haze, it does wash right off though.

Answer:	This sunscreen really burns our eyes, both my children's and my own. I make sure not to get any on their hands, but all it takes is for my toddler to start crying (for whatever reason), she rubs her eyes, and then I'm dealing with several hours of screaming due to her painful and very red eyes. My preschooler says it feels like her eyes are bleeding. I've even gotten it in my own eyes, just from rubbing when I'm tired, and it really does burn.

Answer:	I've found that mineral based doesn't always mean only minerals. If you want try Neutrogena pure and free baby sunscreen. It only contains titanium dioxide and zinc oxide

Answer:	It does leave a white cast when you first put it on, but it then blends pretty well. If there is any cast after blending, it is truly very minor.

Answer:	I started using it on my son when he was 6 months old. Never had any clothes stained and he never experienced eye stinging.
Question:	Why is there a bpa warning on this sunscreen? Does it contain bpa
Answer:	I have done extensive research on sunscreen with lots of trial and error. This is, hands down, the safest and most effective sunscreen on the market (if used properly). It specifically says "BPA free" (along with parabens, etc...) in terms of product ingredients. All plastic tubes will have some chemical (some studies suggest non BPA chemicals can be even more harmful) that will leach especially when heated. This is likely why there is a reminder on the bottle to keep it out of heat or direct sun. You cannot avoid this with any sunscreen. This is a great sunscreen and I trust it on my kids. But, it has to be applied correctly, and often, in the summer - just like any sunscreen. Hope this helps.

UVA & UVB Broad-Spectrum

Consumers have been led to believe that ultra-high SPF numbers like 70 and 100 provide much more protection than SPF 30. This is False. SPF 30 provides 97% protection from UVB and SPF 100 provides 99% coverage for UVB. We tell folks if you look at the back of the tube and you see a bunch of words you don’t recognize, you probably don’t want to put that on your skin. It is important that you’re using a truly Broad-spectrum formula that covers UVA and UVB.

Mineral Based Formula

Chemical sunscreens make up the majority of the market unfortunately. They are both cheap and apply clear. Mineral based solutions can cause some amount of whitening during use and are also more expensive. But at what cost is it cheaper. Some mineral base formulations have also taken to using clear zinc or nano particle sized zinc or titanium. We recommend sourcing a non-nano zinc oxide solution. There is just not enough data on the ability for nano particles getting into the blood stream. As such, it is better to embrace the Precautionary principle.

Water Resistant

There are now three levels of water resistance. Not water resistant, water resistant (40 minutes) and water resistant (80 minutes). We have all become used to seeing words like sweatproof or waterproof. There are now very specific tests. Keep in mind, that if you’re at the beach or pool that you’ll need to reapply after being in the water. And to achieve the SPF factor of your sunscreen you have to reapply every two hours. One application does not keep you at SPF 50 or whatever is on the sunscreen label. And you should be using about 1oz to cover an adult body.

Tips for Application

1. Be sure to apply all areas that will be exposed to sunlight, including behind the ears, neck, hands, feet, and scalp 15 minutes before sun exposure.
2. Reapply after 80 minutes of swimming or sweating, immediately after towel drying, at least every 2 hours.
3. While the sunscreen applies very easily, we recommend not spreading it too thin. Otherwise you will decrease the effectiveness of the sunscreen.

Why Sunscreen?

The majority of sunscreens currently on the market are full of questionable ingredients and known carcinogens. Simply looking at the ingredients you'll quickly realize you don't recognize any of them. Many existing sunscreens have been brought to market with little concern for their safety. Not only do ingredients in sunscreen interact with skin, but data shows after application of lotions, some of the same chemicals can be detected in the bloodstream. Most people wear sunscreen to reduce the chance of developing cancer, so why apply something that could potentially increase this risk? Answer:	Yes. It’s just marketing, though with the Aveeno kids & baby ones, they are more careful about not putting in questionable ingredients (they have a few, but not as bad), plus they actually have much better UVA protection & balance to the SPF factor, than the other Aveeno products. (means better protection from cancer.) Better for everyone, no matter your age. Search EWG Skin Deep for their sunscreen guide for more info. I think the kids and baby formulas may be the same, but you know, some kids don’t want their sunscreen to say “baby.”

Question:	When I shake the bottle the contents sound solid. It still sprays but seems almost like rotten milk, does this mean it’s gone bad
Answer:	No, it's not bad. That is why shaking first is so important. It mixes ingredients together so that they aren't 'lumpy' and comes out in fine light spray once shook well. The can even says on it shake well for 5 seconds.

Answer:	The problem we had was that some areas of reef don’t allow aerosol spray. So we could put it on before

Answer:	Its like a spray zinc and sprays on white. I shake the can and rub it in but there is just a hint of white. No shiny. It stays on even when I get out of the pool. Strong stuff.

Answer:	Yes, definitely! I didn't rub it in the first time and got sunburned. The second time around I did rub it in and re-applied. I got sunburned again, but less so. Honestly, I wouldn't recommend this product. Answer:	Our lotion has a thick consistency due to the 25% Zinc content. While the lotion applies white, we find our customers appreciate this because they can see where it has been applied and it rubs in clear and is very moisturizing. Question:	Does this sunscreen have propylene glycol in it
Answer:	No, it is completely natural and certified organic. It is basically zinc oxide in a base of several herb and flower oils.
Question:	How long would this bottle probably last for a fairly small child? Like how many applications? Florida vacation coming up
Answer:	This one is a 3oz bottle (look at your toothpaste it's probably 4 or 6) a little goes a long way, it's not liquidy it's pretty thick. If you're at the beach every day for a week with a 2 foot toddler you'd be safe. And it's great for your face and ears too! Have fun!
Question:	Does the sweet smell attract bees
Answer:	Yes! We have had this problem once with a honeybee that kept following us around as we were trying to apply the sunscreen. My daughter was freaked out, but the bee was not aggressive, just persistent! It smells like an orange creamsicle. I switched to the Chamomile scented one for this reason. Will save the orange vanilla for when we are someplace with no bees.
Question:	What is the difference between the baby badger sunscreen and the one for kids ? Which one is better
Answer:	The only difference I could tell was the fragrance of the baby more soothing than the kids. I have both, and prefer the kids because of the smell. But they both work just as well. Badger products are great.

Answer:	I disagree, I think it DOES leave a residue, but it isn't so thick that it's like white paint on your skin, it just makes your skin look a little paler. It really isn't very noticeable if you rub it in very well. I like the benefits of the formula so much that I don't care, but fyi.
Question:	Does it turn your clothes yellow
Answer:	I used it for a solid week while sailing I. The Bahamas and did not experience any yellowing of my clothes at all.

Answer:	Please don’t ever spray sunscreen on the face! It is unsafe to do so as you or your little one could breathe in the chemicals. Spray on hands, away from the face, and apply to the face. This works fine in that manner.
