Answer:	I have no idea, it all seem the same to me. You can also doddle on sketch paper as well, but I suppose sketch paper is bigger.

Question:	Does anyone know how the illo sketchbook compares to the Pentalic? I would want to put watercolor washes on it. I realize it is not 100% cotton rag
Answer:	Not familiar with Pentalic. This is the best sketchbook ive found for the price. I loved it so much, i bought 3. I dont know how picky you are about the watercolor but ive used heavy ink washes and it wont bleed through to the other side of the paper. Looked like it might warp with heavy water, no worries, let it dry and close the book, straightened right out. Like i said, im super happy with mine. I use ink in brush pens, ink washes, copic markers and acryllic paint. This book does it all. Very good quality mixed medium paper. Comparable to moleskine. Havnt used traditional watercolor but the ink is really harsh. I think it will do fine with watercolor. The book lays flat so you can paint across both pages. Plus I really like supporting small business. I follow these guys on instagram and there are comments all over their page. Very positive feedback.

Answer:	The Copic does bleed through a little bit- enough that you couldn’t really do anything on the backside of the page but that’s as far as it bleeds through. The watercolor really just dampens the paper but not to any point where the paper starts to curl up or the paper totally rips apart. Hope this helps!

Answer:	The pages aren't stark white. I think some would say they are cream colored. I use the pages for writing rather than drawing, and they are perfect for what I do.

Answer:	I really don’t know because my daughter used it mainly for sketching with a pencil or paint. Paint didn’t seem to bleed through. My younger daughter did use markers now that I think about it and it didn’t bleed through the paper.

Answer:	I like this paper for sketching when I want a rougher surface but it is cheap wood pulp paper and won't stand up to wet media. The surface will begin to disintegrate as soon as you try to work with it wet. I tried it with watercolor and ended up with a soggy, disintegrating mess. It might last a little longer with acrylic or gouache but as soon as you try a wash I think you're going to be disappointed. As a cheap wood pulp paper it's OK for dry media but wet is outside its comfort range. :-)
