Answer:	It goes automatically when you turn it on. After a while it stops going and will start again if you touch it or if you get near the sensor.
Question:	the stage 2 setting does not match what is in the listing. Ours has a 5 ft square space and can’t make a circle. Is it defective
Answer:	If it doesn't make a circle at all, I would say it is defective.
