Answer:	Cables are only about 12 inches long, really short. Not sure of the wire gauge but each cable is actually 2 thin cables tied together by ring connectors on each end. Not sure about pass through capacity either.
Question:	What size wire is provided? I understand it comes double but what is the size of the individual wire
Answer:	It comes with the cheapest wire available and it’s CCA. Buy quality pure copper minimum at least 1/0g for this inverter
Question:	Can the inverter be connected directly to a solar controler "load" terminal (assuming enough amps are available) in lieu of connecting to a battery
Answer:	Load terminal is not going to work, its good for lower amp 12 volt power, you need a battery bank. Stable power to the inverter, I use load for a 12 volt lighting circuit, led, low power fans, inverter for tools, small air. 500 watts of panels, 3 105 amp hour gel cells parallel in a work shed. You need to design a system.
Question:	The unit is internally fused with 4 30a fuses, for 120a. to provide 2000w at 90% efficiency will require 185a. how can this work very long
Answer:	Update to my last reply. If you look in the specification manual it specifies "Input voltage range(12V)10-16VDC". So maybe they are playing games with the numbers. IF you had a battery that was 16V then 16Volts * 30Amps * 4 fuses = 1920 Watts (almost 2000 Watts) would be the input power. Still, at 90% efficiency you only could get 1728 Watts...but who has batteries that are 16Volts ????? This is "fudging the numbers" in my opinion. Rating should be for 12V input.

Answer:	There's a long detachable phone cable connecting the inverter to a simple on/off switch with indicator light. It's optional because you can also turn the inverter on/off on the unit itself.
Question:	The manual says the low voltage cut of is 9.5 volts. This is too low and will damage the battery. Can this be adjusted
Answer:	There are no adjustments available. The device will start alarming at 10.1V and shut down at 9.8V (according to the manual)

Answer:	A previous answer of 0.8 amps is silly. Let's do the math. The inverter is rated at 600 watts. If it is 90% efficient, then to deliver an output of 600 watts it requires an input of 666.67 watts. At a battery voltage of 13.2 volts (you can pick what you want from 12.8 to 13.7) then Ohm's law decrees that the inverter will draw 50.51 amps from the battery. This is a far cry from 0.8 amps. Answer:	The 1000 watt one does not. Any 1000 watt inverter draws to much amps for a cigarette lighter.

Answer:	I could not find that for this particular model, but found other pure sine wave generators in this size range that say that in idle mode the current is from 0.5 amps to 1.5 amps. I have wired the remote switch into my trailer, so I do switch it off at the end of the day. Yes, if your TV/playback systems do not have battery backups, you have to reset the time, etc. Leaving it on during the night would use about 180 watts with no load. I have 200watt panels, so it would cost me about 1 hour of my charge time during the day to leave it on for 10 hours of darkness. Since I have nothing else on during the day, I could probably just leave it on, but have not done so yet. Been very please with the unit thus far.

Answer:	Hi Keith, I saw your question and thought I'd tell you what I know. I bought a 1500 Watt / 3000 serge about a year ago and the only thing I had to deal with is I had to put bigger cables from my batteries to the inverter. the ones that came with it weren't big enough. I had some 2AWG cable leftover from hooking up my solar panels and used that to go from the batteries to the inverter. I haven't had any problems since. I hooked it to my refrigerator and freezer and a few other things. I have 4 /100 amp hour batteries with 6 / 100-watt solar panels. For me, it's a really good inverter. I'm thinking about getting the 3000 watts / 6000-watt serge and a few more batteries so I can hook up more stuff. I hope it works as well.

Answer:	Highly recommend upgrading your cables from the what comes with it though if you plan on higher loads above 1500W. Also, make sure you have a suitable cable size (2 AWG or higher) to connect your batteries together. Just remember that your 100Ah batteries will really only get you about 50Ah each. It should be able to go from fully charged to minimum pulling a load if 1800W for about an hour (50Ahx12vx3), or a 100W load for about 16-18 hours. You'll lose a little bit in overhead and when you run it longer the overhead eats into you power availability.. If you have a constant load of 3000W, you'll only get a little above 30 minutes of use out of before your batteries will need recharging. Also @3000W , you'll be pulling 250 Amps (3000/12V) so you should be using at least 00 or 000 cables to connect the inverter.. Each battery will pull ~83A each so make sure that each battery can supply it.
Question:	Is the specs on this inverter true, tested pure sine wave capable of 3000w cont/6000w peak? Due to pricing seems to good to be true and over-rated

Question:	Is it true that the fan runs continuously even under no load
Answer:	In my usage it seems like this inverter has 3 fan speeds. A low mode is always run when it is switched on, a medium mode that will kick in somewhere in the 400-600 load range, and a high mode that will kick in around the 800w load range. It does seem to be temp throttled, rather than load throttled, since it will usually take some moments after a high load is applied for the fan to ramp up and some time after a high load is removed to ramp back down. I wouldn't call it excessively loud, but is definitely audible, especially in the med and high modes.
Question:	Will it run a 10amp shop vac
Answer:	A 10 amp shop vac draws over 1000 watts, which is the limit for this inverter. It could also draw two or three times as many watts very briefly when it first starts. So, no, that would not be a good match. Even if the inverter didn't shut down or blow a fuse, it would be hard on the inverter and probably greatly shorten its life. Look for an inverter that is rated for at least 2000 or 3000 watts if you need to run a 10 amp shop vac.
Question:	Can I use it with a 110v vacuum
Answer:	Very likely not. Traditional vacuums - the kind that are so loud they scare the cats - use a very large amount of juice (near the 15-amp limit of the outlet, so they'd approach 1800 watts), but you use it over a short time, so it doesn't really affect your power bill like an air conditioner (that uses a lot of juice over a long period). You ought to just get a modern lithium battery-powered vacuum. They run long enough and are darn near just as powerful as the wall-powered ones, and cost around as much as this inverter does.
