Answer:	There's a long detachable phone cable connecting the inverter to a simple on/off switch with indicator light. It's optional because you can also turn the inverter on/off on the unit itself.
Question:	The manual says the low voltage cut of is 9.5 volts. This is too low and will damage the battery. Can this be adjusted
Answer:	There are no adjustments available. The device will start alarming at 10.1V and shut down at 9.8V (according to the manual)

Answer:	A previous answer of 0.8 amps is silly. Let's do the math. The inverter is rated at 600 watts. If it is 90% efficient, then to deliver an output of 600 watts it requires an input of 666.67 watts. At a battery voltage of 13.2 volts (you can pick what you want from 12.8 to 13.7) then Ohm's law decrees that the inverter will draw 50.51 amps from the battery. This is a far cry from 0.8 amps. Better keep your engine running if you load up this inverter.

Answer:	No, it's not adjustable and I don't know how it could be? Something is either wet or it isn't. They are very sensitive. You might do what I do in one application, and that is to raise the unit up off the floor 1/8" or 1/4" etc. But directly resting on even a damp floor . . . it is going to go off! The units are very good and quite loud - I'm very happy with them.

Answer:	Yes, there are instructions in the manual included. I elected to install a parallel shut off valve beside the flood stop valve. I purchased two tees and a valve. I had some pex pipes and crimp clamps on hand, so minimal expense. Valve is normally closed. If the flood stop would close and you want water, open your bypass valve. Be careful, you may have a leak.

Answer:	It's quite a coincidence that you ask......I just replaced the battery after only 3 months of use. I noticed it stopped sending me emails last week, so I took it out of the crawl space and saw that the battery is dead. I put in another one. Maybe the original one was not good, but if this one doesn't last a year as advertised, I will be calling customer service for a refund or replacement.

Question:	Silly question-just purchased to run pa for an outdoor wedding. Test run great. Could you just buy a separate battery to run from one time
Answer:	That would work until the charge drops to un-usable.. The time would depend on the power usage and time usage .. Similar to how a charge on a trolling motor works.. Also big issue would also be the battery would have to be FULLY charged before starting too!
Question:	Forgot to ask what size studs are on the 12 volt input side? Does this 1100 watt inverter accept the U.S. standard polarized plug now was this fixed
Answer:	Not sure on the stud size but this unit does come with the cable leads already set ip and ready for install. I have the 2000 watt version of this unit. I however upgraded the cables to a heavier cable do to the fact I needed more length because of where I mounted the unit. I run a small microwave of 600 cooking watts and my coffee pot that is also 600 cooking watts. Neither one have worked AS WELL on other inverters as they do with this unit. Now depending n what you are going to run off thus 1100 watt unit , you may want to consider going larger. Appliances such as a microwave , advertise less than they actually use. They advertise the COOKING power. So a 600 watt microwave is pulling more like 800 -900 depending on the features of said microwave. And yes - the plug ins are the standard US household 110v plug. There is also a secondary ground wire you should put in and hook up as well. The kit does not come with this SECONDARY round lead. I personally love my unit. Its the best I have used in 16 years. Question:	Will this run a standard fridge
Answer:	Refrigerator usage is strongly a function of age. The newer it is, the less it uses. I think mine, 4 years old, uses about 300W so it can easily be powered by the inverter. But my big deep cell battery is about 100 Amp hours. That's about 1200 kw hrs so it would only run the frig for 4 hours if it stayed on all the time. It doesn't but still it won't last a day. Still worthwhile, IMHO.
Question:	why is that iam not getting a 110v ac using a multimeter, instead iam getting 86v. is the unit defective
Answer:	I am only getting 58v from the inverter using my volt meter. I plugged in a small fan and it seems that it started to heat up the fan controls and melt the face. I plugged the fan back into the wall and it ran just fine without heating up. I am getting 12.4v at the input terminals and using an AGM 100ah battery. do I have a defective unit? Also, the fan doesn't turn on in the back.
