Answer:	I found this on the NOCO faq page.... What types of batteries can Boost jump? All Boost models (except the GB500 Boost Max) can jump start 12V lead acid batteries only. This includes wet, gel, maintenance free, enhanced flooded battery, and absorbent glass mat batteries. The GB500 Boost Max is capable of jump starting 12V and 24V acid batteries.
Question:	Will it jumpstart an AGM Optima battery or any Deep Cycle Battery
Answer:	Yes it will start up any (vehicles) car battery. However (in error) when I received my order of the GB-40, I had only checked it; by turning it on and looking to see what the power display showed (as far as voltage lights). I should have charged it, even though it showed full charge; when I had to use it maybe a month later (as my battery in the car) had finally given up; the booster saved me but then showed low power had remained on the booster GB-40. The car's battery needed to be replaced the next day. The GB-40, saved me!

Answer:	I've been using mine for almost 2 years and it still works great. I can get 6 or 8 jumps for a V8 engine without recharging the device- Quite impressive considering we used to have to have those huge spare batteries or jump from another car. Everybody should have at least one of these!
Question:	How does this unit fair on diesel engines, like 5.9/6.7 cummins / duramax or powerstroke engines, does it have enough juice to get em going
Answer:	I started my Ford F-350 6.8L V10 twice and it was still 75% charged. This was at 8500 feet temp about 10F. I love this little thing!
Question:	Jnc770r - can i store this unit in my vehicle laying on its back or side? will the battery leak when stored in these positions
Answer:	These products with the short cables are intended for direct connection to both terminals of the battery. This is NOT a recommended practice when jump starting with booster cables between vehicles, because the high current potential could cause sparking (when connecting) which could ignite battery gases. That's where you need the good (away from battery) ground spot to make the last connection safely. These products however don't present that hazard when connecting.
Question:	Does this unit need an extension cord to charge
Answer:	The battery doesn't retain the charge too good, if unused. And the reporting on the LCD is misleading: After a full charge and months of non-use, it still indicated 91%. When I connected the jumper cable to begin to jumpstart the car, it suddenly dropped to 68% ! And that was NOT sufficient to jumpstart a size 24F battery (4.3L gas engine, if that makes any difference), even though the green LED light was flashing (then turned solid) to indicate the battery charge was ok to jumpstart. I charged it for a few hours to get back to 100%, and then the jumpstart worked. So, always check real battery charge level with jumper cable plugged in.

Answer:	We tested the Jump-N-Carry JNC345 against many lithium jump starters on the market. From the GB150 units we tested, we averaged around 490 Amps on a 3-second Ampacity test. The JNC345 averaged around 495 Amps on the same 3-second test. The JNC345 was also able to start a higher number of engines at colder temperatures. The JNC345 features extra-long, replaceable cable and clamp set. This way if a cable or clamp is damaged, the user does not need to replace the entire unit.

Answer:	Dave, I don’t know the exact thickness of the metal. I took the lid off the container and used both hands to see if I could make the the metal walls of the container flex. I could not make the walls of the container flex, very sturdy! I should note that a standard grocery store loaf of bread is too long to fit in the container. Question:	I have the jump n start jnc2000. what it the correct charger to use with this unit? thank you
Answer:	I bought these for a 24 hour photo summer shoot in the marsh and hills of western Maine where the temps ranged in the low 50's at night and mid to high 70's during the day. The pants under these conditions were great. Without another layer underneath I wouldn't use these pants for anything much colder than say the 40's maybe 30's at best. They're not insulated for real cold weather, rather, better suited for mild to hot conditions.
Question:	Does this have to be stored upright? Or can I just toss in my trunk
Answer:	Yes, generally 30 length is considered short. If you measured and it is 29 I'm sure it is actually a 32×30 pant.
Question:	how long are the cables
Answer:	36 w stands for 36 waist. If you 39 waist I suggestion 40w to 42w with the right belt.
Question:	does it fit the passenger side or the driver side? or is it the same
Answer:	I got them in a 42x30. I tend toward a baggier pant (eg. carpenter jeans), but I found these to be a slimmer look than my normal pants without feeling tight. I'm extremely happy with the fit.

Answer:	How old is it. Is it under warranty still? Where do you store it? I had to replace the battery in one of this model. I own two of them. Batteries Plus carries them.

Answer:	I've owned the 1500 amp for about 12 years and it still works like new. Almost unbelievable. Strong and will start a large V8 engine with plenty of power left. I have left it plugged in for months at a time with no harm, however I agree that bringing it to a full charge and then unplugging it seems best. It will hold a full charge for months. I am ordering an additional one and hope it is still made the same as my original. My first one is an amazing product.
Question:	Would this product jump start heavy equipment such as a semi
Answer:	Yes! My cousin was visiting us on a route abd left something on in his rig. I pulled this out of my Dodge and started that rig up no problem.
Question:	Does it have an On/Off switch for the Jumper
Answer:	No! The clamps suck and loose their grip. Mine fell out of the holder, shorted out and caught my trunk on fire. Burned the jump pack, the contents of my trunk, carpet, and damn near burned my car to the ground! Extremely dangerous without a master shutoff switch!!
