Amazon is refunding my money and they told me that all optima batteries come with a 1 year, ONE YEAR warranty through amazon for what that's worth. Answer:	A Prius equipped with smart key entry sends out a radio signal looking for a remote key. When you approach your car with the remote on you the car senses it and allows you to open the doors and start the car with out a key. This is important for the battery because, unless you disable it, the car transponder runs constantly and you need a deep discharge battery. It is recommended that you disable smart key if you are parking longer than a couple days to avoid depleting the 12 volt battery. The disable switch is on the dash below the steering column. This is fully described in the owners manual.
