Answer:	Does not have a cover. A cover is not needed for protection. I had another brand in the past and it was exposed to rain for a few years without any problems so I would expect the same from this brand also. FYI, I did cover my other jack during the winter with a vinyl bag.

Answer:	Just doing an eye ball measurement [not using a straight edge also] with my tape measure my Libra 3500 lb electric jack measures 18 13/16" from the trailer tongue to the top of the Jack. So my thought is that the Jack will fit. You may have to remove the bike rack for the installation because of the swing radius when installing the Jack to bring it into a vertical position to secure it with bolts. As the the Jack receives it's negative ground through the base plate making contact with the trailer tongue is imperative so I had to remove some paint from the bottom of the Jack base plate and the trailer tongue, using star washers between the bottom of the Jack base plate and the trailer tongue ensured a good grounding for the electrical system. This is a good Jack and it serves me well.

Answer:	Sorry but I do not know the exact size of the tube but it is the same as the tube on the manual model. My trailer is stored in another location so I cannot go and measure it at the moment. Answer:	There is not a reset button on the jack. Release the Toggle Switch when the motor switches off to prevent damage to motor. Walt 15 seconds for the motor to reset before operating the jack again. If the motor should stall with the jack in the fully retracted position, and the Toggle Switch Is not released, the motor will automatically switch off. There is a manual option on the jack if needed as well.

Answer:	That is for the light on the jack.

Answer:	It retracts pretty compactly. Far more compact than the jack that came on my camper.
Question:	My travel trailer has a gvw loaded of 9700 lbs. is this 5000 lb capacity electric jack sufficient enough? if not, what size
Answer:	The black wire connects to the battery or positive connection... The ground is obtained through the bolted connection of the jack base to the trailer tongue. Be sure that there is a good metal-to-metal connection when bolting the jack in place.

Question:	If you can't lift with it, how can you claim it will level? And why call out capacity if it can't lift? Stablizing and leveling are not the same thing
Answer:	I hit a curb and bent an original jack so I had a plate already welded to the frame. Original holes matched and with new bolts we were in business. If this is a new install you will have to drill and tap the frame or craft a plate with holes and weld it to the frame.
Question:	Do these come with the fasteners to attache to trailer frame
Answer:	No. Unless you have a 5,000 lb mower and want to bolt them on.
Question:	How do they attach to frame
Answer:	Good morning Jim, thank you for contacting Lippert Components. The maximum stroke is 30" and the height when fully retracted is 3.76".
Question:	Can this be used for lawn mower
Answer:	Stabilizer jacks do have weight rating but don't know what these are rated at.

Answer:	I fully agree with you as four of these should be capable of lifting my 4000lb trailer off the ground. I over lifted with a factor stabilizer rated at 2k lbs this the reason I ordered these. All said, these are much nicer and more sturdy than the cheap factory ones the trailer came with. I still won’t lift the trailer, just level from a nominal angle.
Question:	What's the length when retracted
Answer:	Yes, but the predrilled holes do not match the holes in the trailer frame! Not by much but enough that I couldn’t get the bolts thru. Ended up taking the brackets off the damaged jack and putting them on these brackets to make them fit!
