Will it read ABS/ airbag codes?

Sorry, NT301 obdii scanner is able to read and clear check engine information which is part of OBDII system, but it cannot work on non-OBDII systems(ABS/airbag/oil service light,ect.). While FOXWELL NT630 Plus can reset airbag/abs service light, FOXWELL NT614 Elite support transmission and can reset oil service light and EPB, and FOXWELL NT624 Elite can do a full-system diagnostics.

Answer:	I can confirm that this adapter WILL read (I haven't tried to clear yet) ABS codes on Ford (2001 Ranger 4.0L), using FordSysFree or MotorDataOBD Free (both Android). ABS codes are in the Cxxxx range. Mine picked up, correctly, C0034 - Front Right Wheel Speed Sensor Failure. While other adapters may be able to read these codes with other Android Apps, this ELM327 BAFX adapter does capture ABS codes for Ford. That is the only one I can confirm. Yes, FORScan for PC should also pick up these codes with this adapter. I have not tested Torque PRO, but I don't believe it will read ABS codes with this adapter.

CODE DEFINITION

There is a built-in up-to-date OBD-II DTC look-up library in this device. Fault codes and their definitions can be found in the library. A 2.4" TFT true color (262K) LCD display is fitted to provide a clear reading of the information contained in it. After a fault code is detected, the definition of the code will be shown by directly clicking the fault code selected.

DATA STREAM

The scan tool lets you view "real-time" Live Data. This information includes values (volts, rpm, temperature, speed etc.) and system status information (open loop, closed loop, fuel system status, etc.) generated by the various vehicle sensors, switches and actuators. It supports detailed text display, and you can view all data stream items or select a certain item of live data with a graph.

Step2: Search the website and download the program online and install it on PC (Just click DONE when one of drivers shows "Installation Failure" with a red ×, and another shows "Device Updated" with a green √, beacuse one of them is for XP system, and another is for window system). Step3: Enter the software "UPLINK" on PC, Select Print Data from Main Menu in the scan tool, and press the OK button to download date to the computer.

• The upgrade process is straightforward and can be easily done via USB cable.
• Visit LAUNCH’s website. Download and install the update tool (Windows XP, 7, 8, & 10).
• Connect the scanner to the computer via the USB cable.
• Register the scanner using its serial number.
• Fill in the required information and click [upgrade].

*Note: make sure the internet connection is strong and stable while updating.

NOTICE:

• By clearing trouble codes you also clear the readiness. the vehicle must be driven through a complete drive cycle with no trouble codes in memory. The amount of time needed for reset vary by vehicle.
