Answer:	Dont use it for latex or any industrial/house paint. Youd need a lot of air to run that gun depending on air cap (hv30 id reccommend) . with latex house paint itd gum up bad at the fluid needle and probably jam constantly. If you really want to youd have to run a big needle (1.5 i believe is the biggest prolite offers, even that is too small) and you would have to even reduce the paint for it to flow out and atomize nice enough.

Answer:	Gloria, 1.4mm is a good "all around" tip size that will allow you to spray a variety of finishes provided you thin the mixture properly. I've sprayed a single stage urethane with this gun, but I had to thin it properly. Primers are very thick, and most pros would recommend you spray it un-thinned using a larger 1.8mm tip to allow you to get maximum build and quick coverage. If you're doing a base coat clear coat system of paint, 1.4 should be fine for both basecoat and clear coat, but some might recommend a smaller 1.2mm tip as being ideal for clearcoat. Again, everything depends on the type of paint you're spraying...definitely take a look at the spec sheets for the coating you're spraying, as the manufacturer should mention the proper tip size and recommended thinning instructions.

Question:	I just bought this to use for spraying contact cement. Less than 24hrs later the fluid hose is melting. Is this hose not ok for adhesives
Answer:	First off: one of the answers say this is SS and I'm dang sure this aint SS for this price range. John Adams confirmed this. If you are going to shoot contact cement - my professional advice to you is to go and buy a suction (not a gravity fed) fed 32 oz from home depot. I pour the cement straight from the 5gal container and into the can. and I shoot without any regulator -(120gal tank). Comes out stringy and and smooth when layered and will not come off the plywood. This container is too large in my opinion, for contact cement. If you use it everyday for commercial production, then sure. The cement will dry in short order b/c there is a lot of air in the system (pot + the hose).

Answer:	I have several sized HVLP guns - and it holds them all. I have one holder screwed to bench and one screwed to wall. I have small touch up gun and regular gun from Devilbiss and a couple of the smaller guns from Harbor Freight that I use still for primer and sealer use. One hint - when mounting to bench - keep near the front so air line fitting clears. Very happy with my holders !!!
