Answer:	Due to transitions of inventory, when purchasing by "Fulfilled by Amazon", some units are the 10813 and some are the G9. When purchasing by "Fulfilled by Edo Performance" all units are G9 unless specifically requested in order notes for 10813.
Question:	Will 7 inch pads fit this
Answer:	A 7" pad will work if you get the 6" backing plate. If you do get the 6" backing plate, make sure you get a vented one (with holes of slots in it). It helps the heat escape from the pad and increases the pad life. Even with the 5" backing plate it's smart to use the 6" pad, especially if you are a novice. The hard rubber edge of the backing plate can mar the paint if you are working where the A,B, or C pillar meet the fender or quarter panel. The 1" larger pad gives you that 1/2" of pad all around, past the edge of the backing plate for a buffer.

Question:	Has anyone had success using Harbor Freight foam pads with the machine polishes? If so, which pads (color) did you use
Answer:	I haven't used Harbor Freights pads. I have only used Griot's and genuine 3M pads all purchased from Amazon. 3M is the brand to beat in my opinion. I restore headlights the "hard" way and start with 500/800 - 1,200 - 1,500 - 2,000 - 3,000 and then 2 polishes. They look like new - REAL new not the wipe on, wipe off. The Griots and 3M holds up great. Hope that helps.

Answer:	The WP900 is the same as the Wool Polishing Bonnets. It is used to apply Polish.The Foam Applicator Bonnet is used to apply wax.

Answer:	I would use a paste wood polish and apply it by hand with a pad or soft rag. Use the buffer to shine when the polish has set a few minutes. Don't overdo it by exerting a lot of pressure on the table top.

1) Shake well and apply 4-5 drops of V36 to Orange Pad.

2) Prime pad with Pad Conditioner.

3) Dab product out evenly across 2' x 2' section.

4) Turn on machine on surface to speed setting 1 to spread product.

5) Increase speed to 5-6 and using moderate pressure.

6) Work area in 2-3 passes until product becomes clear.

7) Examine results. If you are satisfied with results, proceed to step 10.

8) If you are not satisfied with results, try using V34 with the Orange Pad; if you are satisfied, proceed to step 10.

9) If an even more aggressive approach is needed, switch to the Yellow Cutting Pad.

Answer:	The pads I received with this kit are the 5.5" variety.

Answer:	Yes. You pick what type of wax, compounds, glaze(s), you want to use. This machine is replacing the elbow grease you would be needing with a rag. But the chemicals and steps you choose to take to make that final car of yours shine is what you need to figure out. Chemical guys has plenty of great products and great you tube videos and tutorials. This machine works great. Just gotta know what waxes and othe products you need based on the current condition of the paint/car is in.
