We asked the company if there was any type of adapter or correction for this issue of the hole being too large and there was not so we returned it. |

| Answer: | You can tighten the cover, the tire cover has grommets to strengthen the hole where the string comes through from behind. You can't see it from the front when the cover is on. |

| Answer: | I am not sure, have not done that yet. They seem to be very tough and rugged. We are an equipment dealership, and the tire cover is out 24/7. It is wearing very well. Hope this helps. |
