Question:	Does the reading stay lit when removed from the valve or does it immediately shut off
Answer:	The filter is based on how many grains of solids it can filter. You have to find out how hard your water is and how much water you will use through it. This will kind of give you a rough estimate of how long the filter will last. This filter is rated at 750 grains, so do the math. With my Alex Duette 2 espresso machine making 5-6 drinks per day, I can go a year before changing the filter. But I change the filter every 6 months just because.
Question:	What kind of battery does this use and is it easily replaceable
Answer:	Remember this is a water softening filter not a particulate removal filter. Normally you put clean hard water through it and out comes softened water. You don't recirculate water through it. It is a one pass type filter. If you are softening with it and the water is coming out hard, you need to regenerate the ion exchange media by submerging in a small tub of brine water and then flush out the brine and it is ready to go.
Question:	How long do batteries last and is it easy to replace them
Answer:	I change the filter every 6 months, of course it depends on your water usage. Check on the packaging to see how many gallons the filter is good for and keep track of your water meter for a month or two to give you an idea.

Useful note:

In order to get a good seal, please put the tire's air nozzle up or off to the side. It's the best when the nozzle is around 6 or 7 o'clock position so that you can firmly press the guage straight down which means you have to crane your head a little bit for reading. Always remember the most important thing for you is to be able to press down straight & hard onto the tire's nozzle.

Question:	What is the battery model/number for this gauge
Answer:	After receiving my two-pack, I opened one to check the batteries because the instructions that came with the gauges failed to identify the batteries and I didn't find the previous answers to this question until after I had checked my gauge. AstroAI indicated that the gauge uses 3 @ AG13 (Silver Oxide) batteries and 1 @ CR2032 (Lithium) battery. I found 3 @ LR44 (Alkaline) batteries and 1 @ CR2032 (Lithium) battery. It's useful to note that the LR44 alkaline battery is cheaper and has a shorter life than the AG33 silver battery. I also don't trust small alkaline batteries in devices such as this where they can leak. When my batteries need to be replaced, I will use the AG13s. Looking at the wiring in the gauge, it is apparent that the single CR2032 powers the pressure transducer while the three LR44 or AG13 batteries power the light.

Question:	What warranty comes with this product
Answer:	I ordered this last year, and at the time it did keep the tire pressure until it was reset by clicking the side button. Now, it no longer retains the pressure. I asked a mechanic about it and he said the button was to release pressure on over inflated tires, but I was pretty sure that wasn't the only function for the button. Now, in reviewing the product's features I see that it should be retaining the pressure. Sadly, mine no longer does that. Otherwise, I like the gauge quite a lot.

Answer:	I bought a big circular tire gauge based on a ton of their specs and it was off by 10 psi at 80 psi. I complained to the supplier and they said they had a run of bad ones and sent me a second one. It too is off by 10 psi so I no longer trust the printed nonsense. I usually go to one of the tire big-name suppliers and have them inflate a tire and then check my gauge against theirs. I have not had a chance to do that with this new gauge because of the CV-19 but it seems about right in the 30 to 35psi range. The really best part of this gauge is it does not leak air during the pressure ck. Have fun

Answer:	My gauge came with one battery installed and one plastic wrapped spare. The battery that was installed lasted about a year(+/-). The spare is in the gauge now and is approximately a year old. The battery life indicator shows full strength still. This is the best gauge I’ve ever owned. I bought it because it measures tire pressure in 1/10th increments. Meaning you can fill your tire to, say, 34.3 psi, you can. This is helpful for the drivers of cars with TPMS sensors that register PSI in whole numbers. Hope that helps. Bottom line - buy it. Answer:	I believe you're dealing with a classic lack of either expertise in the English language (gauge is 100% accurate) or expertise in mathematics. To my knowledge, this gauge is accurate to within +/- 1 PSI when the selector is set to measure in PSI's. Therefore, if the gauge measures 50 PSI, the tire pressure should be 50 PSI. Of course, variance can occur due to improper placement of the gauge on the tire stem, etc., but I have personally found this gauge to be exceptionally accurate when compared to an analog gauge of professional accuracy quality.
