Question:	Does the reading stay lit when removed from the valve or does it immediately shut off
Answer:	The filter is based on how many grains of solids it can filter. You have to find out how hard your water is and how much water you will use through it. This will kind of give you a rough estimate of how long the filter will last. This filter is rated at 750 grains, so do the math. With my Alex Duette 2 espresso machine making 5-6 drinks per day, I can go a year before changing the filter. But I change the filter every 6 months just because.
Question:	What kind of battery does this use and is it easily replaceable
Answer:	Remember this is a water softening filter not a particulate removal filter. Normally you put clean hard water through it and out comes softened water. You don't recirculate water through it. It is a one pass type filter. If you are softening with it and the water is coming out hard, you need to regenerate the ion exchange media by submerging in a small tub of brine water and then flush out the brine and it is ready to go.
Question:	How long do batteries last and is it easy to replace them
Answer:	I change the filter every 6 months, of course it depends on your water usage. Check on the packaging to see how many gallons the filter is good for and keep track of your water meter for a month or two to give you an idea.

Answer:	Checked it against my vehicle indicates and it was spot on. Maybe even more accurate because the vehicle only gave the pound and not inbetween , such as .1-.9 indications.

Question:	What is the precise length of this product
Answer:	around 12" in length
Question:	I noticed many reviews said that they had battery problems. Do all of these gauges have battery problems. Are all the battery indicators defective
Answer:	Thanks for a good question! I supposed that the icon of the semi-charged (discharged) battery was just a confusing UI solution and when the battery would be indeed discharged the icon would start blinking or sort of. I was wrong! The battery icon in this gauge is just a fake! I have specially put inside the gauge the 2 pares of discharged batteries. (One pare at a time, of course. ;) ) The first pare had around 1.2V and still could take a slight load as my battery meter shown. (It loads the checking battery, rather than just meters the voltage as usual voltmeter does.) The second pare could not take any load and had about 1.1V shown by the regular voltmeter. The first pare could "feed" the gauge, but despite the batteries low voltage, the battery icon did not show that. When I inserted the second pare, then the gauge simply didn't work. So, here is what I think about that - the gauge does NOT have any indicator of the discharged battery. When the batteries are OK, then the gauge works just fine, but if you turn ON the gauge and it doesn't launch, then, most likely, the batteries are completely discharged. To complete this short research, I want to mention that after more than 3 months of use the currently installed batteries (GP Super Alkaline AAA batteries) have practically the initial voltage. Most likely I will decrease my rating to 4 stars after that...

Answer:	The "business end" is clamped onto the hose, so that depends on what you consider to be easy. If you want to use this item, you might have to figure out a way to adapt the round chuck to a valve stem.

Answer:	Well, I use this to adjust the air pressure on kias all day probably at least 20 or more tires a day and it's done pretty well. After about a year of use the rubber hose sprung a leak but I was able to buy a hose from Snap On for like $25 that was a braided steel hose. Everything but the hose seems to hold up fine though. The gauge is still accurate (vs our digital tire balancer machine) and the lever and everything else works well after nearly two years of daily use in a professional environment. You may need to upgrade the hose sometime though if you get it.

Answer:	It stays lit for a short period of time, about 10 seconds I would say and then turns off.

Answer:	Its crazy easy to replace the batteries, but you might spend more on batteries than you would buying a new gauge, since you would need three LR44s and one CR2032. Mine lasted only a year before dying.

Answer:	You only need to change the round 2032 battery. The other small ones are for the LED. Super easy. Ours lasted 3 years

Answer:	First, let me say that I have not tried to measure ball pressure (I am a Patriots fan, so need I say more?) but you will need more than just a needle to do this. The gauge is designed to work with a self-sealing valve. A needle is an open hole to the outside. What you will need is a a tire valve extender. These have a seal at the valve stem end and threads on the other end to seal to the needle. The pressure gauge can then be applied to the valve stem end of the extender.

Answer:	I believe you're dealing with a classic lack of either expertise in the English language (gauge is 100% accurate) or expertise in mathematics. To my knowledge, this gauge is accurate to within +/- 1 PSI when the selector is set to measure in PSI's. Therefore, if the gauge measures 50 PSI, the tire pressure should be 50 PSI. Of course, variance can occur due to improper placement of the gauge on the tire stem, etc., but I have personally found this gauge to be exceptionally accurate when compared to an analog gauge of professional accuracy quality. Question:	Does it read low air pressure from 0-15 lbs
Answer:	It does read at those PSI ranges. According to there description it does read through the full scale with the same accuracy. I set the air PSI in my tractor tires at 18/20 PSI and it did seem to work well at that range. I bought a (non digital) 0 to 15 PSI gauge for my ATV’s. I did compare it and it was within 1 PSI. I read 4 PSI on my 0 to 15 range gauge and I read 3.4 on my digital Jaco gauge so it was actually very close.
Question:	Difference from 100 psi and 200 psi
Answer:	...simply the pressure range of the gauge. I've no idea of an application (tire) that requires pressures nearing 200 psi but.... That said, if the tires you're intending to use the gauges on don't EXCEED 100 psi -that is the gauge that should be purchased. As a rule of thumb -most good pressure gauges (any/all) are most accurate in the middle-to upper 2/3rds of their stated ranges.

Answer:	Yes, it is the best air chuck that I have ever used. It seals well and best of all, because it is narrow and long, it seals the first time every time. I have one caveat however. The downside of its length was that it was too long to make a seal on my motorcycle tires, which have a shorter valve stem. Bicycle tires may have the same issue.

Answer:	No, unfortunately it does not. We also would like this feature but it does not have it. We film our run and slow down/freeze the high point to register. We like the gauge and it works well and we have checked its accuracy against other much more expensive valves and it matches their readings.

Answer:	Shouldn't have a problem with any fuses if you make sure your car is always running while filling your tires, your fill time will be faster also. Turn compressor off after 10 minutes so as not to allow overheating & wait until cool again. With 300 PSI this would be a rare occurrence if filling average car/SUV, bike tires, balls etc. I wouldn't use it for anything over 18 inches personally.

Answer:	This is a popular question which is understandable......I actually measured it with my trusty tape measure. The cord that goes from the cigarette lighter to the compressor unit is about ten feet. The hose part, which goes from the compressor to your tire, is about 18 inches.

Answer:	the fill hose is not that long - but the power line to the auto plug in gives you enough line to reach each tire on the car. the unit can be set next to the tires on each side of the car and the fill hose will easily reach the valve. I also use the compressor for my bike without a problem. I just ordered an ac/dc converter so that I can use the unit without drawing on the battery.hope this helps
