The ice shoot is above the water tube in the GE model, so the colder air from the Ice tray dumps out over the water tube to freeze the line. Honestly if you just clean up the area around the ice shoot and make sure that the ice shoot door closes then that should fix 90% of the problem. I don't know if this kit will work for zic360nlh, try it and let us know. Not sure your going to get a good answer here.

Question:	do you have to shut off water before installation
Answer:	Yes. Shut off the cold water supply to the water tank. Then open up the hot side of a faucet at a sink above the hot water tank. Then drain about a gallon or so of water from the drain spigot on the tank. That should lower the level of water in the tank and the lines to allow you to replace the anode rod. After that, turn the supply water back on, and turn off the faucet when all of the air has exited the system.

Question:	how do you install this
Answer:	I also used a YouTube video to install this. It was a bit tedious, but overall not bad if you follow the video. Be careful not to cut yourself on the stainless steel edge when removing the molding - recommend wearing gloves if possible. Also, I was unable to find the thermal epoxy for sealing the opening where the tube is located, however I found that the heater performed as required even without it. Still recommend to use the epoxy if you can find it but if you have trouble finding it, don't sweat it too much.
Question:	Did this fix your problem if the water line is frozen inside the door? (not just at the water dispenser) I was told by a repair man that he did not think this product would help with a frozen water line throughout the door. My water line doesn't appear to be frozen in the dispenser area, but it is further down inside
Answer:	Update: After trying this part for five months, I am going to say no. The resistance wire inside doesn't even go past halfway, and relies upon the foil insulation to carry the heat all around. Not convinced. Anyway, I bought a 1/2 inch thick piece of styrofoam from Michael's (arts/craft store) for $3.99 and cut it as @papajuan did minus the white vinyl sheet. Seems to be okay now. The temperature of the water coming out seems slightly warmer, and it seems to only need a little help in keeping from freezing.It may if the freeze is near the dispenser but if it were in the bottom third of the door, for example, I can't see that it would do any good.

Answer:	Has a diagram that comes with it. Just remember there are 2 load lines and not just one. The diagram can be a little decieving.

Answer:	That is really vague......is the clock on?..Did you set the timer? The wiring instructions on this model are so vague they are confusing and it really looks like they are directing to create a short. I had one of these and was replacing but had I used their instructions it would not have worked. Look up the wiring diagram on the web.

Pre-installation

Before installation, follow the instructions to remove knockouts to route wiring to connection terminals. Knockouts may be made 1/2 in. or 3/4 in.

Place small blade screwdriver into inner ring of knockout circle. Tap down lightly with the screwdriver in order to punch the 1/2 in. knockout loose.

For 3/4 in. knockout, create 1/2 in. first, then grip outer ring of knockout circle with pliers. Gently twist and pull to remove outer ring and form 3/4 in. knockout.

Use Instructions:

1.Disconnect the water heater

2. Wrap the original rod out from the sleeve and drain the water in the tank.

3. Observe whether the original rod body has been corroded,If so, insert the new rod and tighten it with the sleeve.

4. If it is found that the screw cannot be tightened or not sealed properly, please use the tape to wrap the screw and re-tighten it.

Answer:	All these parts were identical to the parts I removed from my twelve year old GE water heater (further research indicated it was actually a Rheem). I swapped out the old parts and replaced them with these parts. The water heater now works as if new. I might note that these heating elements also look identical to similar generic items at Home Depot. I doubt they would stock it unless it fit just about everything.

High Watt Density water heater elements are the most common and the same type of element provided with most new water heaters. They are easy to install and come with detailed instructions on how to replace your old element. Screw-in type elements fit most models of American, AO Smith, Bradford White, Craftmaster (prior to 1991), GE, GS Wood (certain models), Kenmore, Lochinvar, Maytag, Mor-Flo, Reliance, Rheem, Richmond, Rudd, Sears, State, Whirlpool and most water heaters manufactured after 1994. Answer:	I ordered 2 on May 1, 2020. Both came with new washers. I replaced the upper & lower elements on my Bradford White 40 gal and they work fine so far.

Answer:	It will if the voltage and wattage is the same.
Question:	How do I know if I need a high watt density or low watt density version
Answer:	High Watt Density elements are normally what come in the original water heater. They are what is considered to be a standard element. A low watt density element is just a better version that allows the heat to be spread over a larger surface area ( the element is usually folded back on itself), thus usually lasting longer in hard water conditions that might cause a high watt density element to burn out quicker. A low watt density element is less watts per square inch but the total wattage output is the same so it heats the water in the same amount of time. In areas of extreme hard water conditions where lime coats the elements quickly, it may even be preferable to go with an ultra low watt density element. You will get the same wattage and heating with all of these elements ( assuming that they are all 4500W 240V), the difference is that they are basically good (HWD), better (LWD) and best (ULWD) options that you would choose depending on your water conditions.
