Lid was crooked and askew when I bought it but GE said that was normal and wouldn't effect operation. They were wrong but try and get them to admit it. Answer:	I have now tested the VL60 without the cover and I did not see any difference in Temp. I set the Unit for 38 Deg during the hot 115 Deg. days for 2 days and the temp held where it was supposed to. It was not in direct sunlight. The drinks were nice and cold. It is still set that way now and has been running for a couple weeks and still keeping temp.

Answer:	Tested the VL45 with my Jackery 250. I will have the Jackery plugged into my truck, and the fridge plugged into the Jackery. Without pre-cooling, it was drawing a lot of power, but not enough to deplete the Jackery while the engine is running. When we are setting up camp, I'll have the Jackery plugged into my 100 w solar panel for continuous power to the fridge.

Answer:	Not sure for the mobo clearance specs, for itx mobo it will be better take cryorig c7 or noctua Nh-l9, both of cooler sizes is near to identical with stock cooler. Arctic lp11 is small and effective, but if you look closer, the cooler is not exactly square (it have thorn on the edge of the heatpipes) so you might have ram clearance issues.

Answer:	I have the freezer. Amazon's questions on this particular item don't work correctly as I keep getting questions on the combo unit and not specifically the freezer. The freezer has its own item number, and the refridge/freezer combo has it's own part number. I love the FREEZER, but it was damaged in shipment 3 times! Finally kept the last one even though it was dented on the bottom as I was tired of dealing with shipment damage and the damage didn't show as much as the previous ones.

1.How do you know when tank if full?

you will hear the liquid propane go into the small 16 oz bottle and then when you hear it stop flowing in a few min or less, it is full.

And you can weigh your bottles before you fill. Weigh the bottle before and after charging to see how much it accepted.



2. How long does it take to fill a 1 lb small bottle?

Usually 2 minutes BUT the time it takes depends on whether you cool your bottles your filling up.

The trick for fast fill is to put your 16 oz empty bottles in the freezer and let them get really cold, then keep the big bottle warm like over 80 degrees.



3.Can this adapter totally fill 1lb smaller tank ?

Cooling the small tank pulls the liquid in much faster, will fill to about 90 percent.

The smaller tank will only go up to the pressure of the larger one, so you can never totally fill it.

For maximum filling, place your cylinder tank in the freezer for up to 30mins before filling it.

1.Shut valve to BBQ propane tank.

2.Insert nose tip of the adapter into a 20 to 50 lbs BBQ propane tank fill connection.

3.Turn the adapter counter clockwise to a tight fit.

4.Screw in the 1 lb cylinder propane tank clockwise into the adapter.

5.Turn BBQ tank upside down then open BBQ tank valve.

6.You will begin to hear the propane gas transferring into the 1 lb cylinder tank.

7.This adapter will automatically cut off the flow of gas when a certain pressure is reached to avoid overfilling so sit back and allow it to fill on it's own.

8. When no more sound is coming from the tank, simply shut the BBQ valve and remove the 1 lb propane cylinder tank.

Pay attention to :

1:You need to turn your bulk tank upside down so liquid flows out of it.

2:You need to chill your empty tanks so that there is a lower vapor pressure in the empty tank than the bulk tank.

3:Your refilled tanks will not be totally full, but this is good because over filling can cause them to vent gas if left in a hot place.

Answer:	I'm not an expert. But it is my understanding that the large tank will fill the small tank until the pressure in the small tank rises to the same level as the pressure in the large tank. If you evacuate the small tank before you refill it, you're just wasting gas. It is, however, smart to evacuate any tank before throwing it in the trash. But that's for safety reasons.
Question:	Can this refrig be operated on a continual basis, on propane
Answer:	It appears that it reaches a maximum on its own. The small tanks should be placed in the refrigerator until the tanks are cold. Allow them to fill until they can receive no more fuel.

Answer:	Definitely. I ran my furnace, fridge, heater for the fish tank, a bunch of lights and phone chargers. Just remember to start the generator first, let it warm up some, pull one thing it at a time and you'll be fine.
Question:	What is the decibel noise rating
Answer:	Remember folks that this is a air cooled engine which are notoriously noisy engines by design. The engine does have a large muffler which helps a lot with exhaust noise but this generator has a open cabinet and doesn’t have an enclosed cabinet so all the machinery noise from the engine and generator goes everywhere. Noise is relative to different people. If a rattling noise is what bothers you but low sounds don’t bother you, you might consider a more expensive model that is enclosed. If rattles don’t bother you but low sounds do, then this is a good product for you. Personaly I knew what I was buying. An open generator that is going to make some sort of racket so I made a very nice enclosure and mine produces 65db at 5 feet. All generators of this price that are air cooled and not enclosed make a lot of noise. It’s more of a matter of what you or your neighbors can tolerate.
Question:	if battery goes dead can it be started manually
Answer:	yes, but only if using propane as a fuel source. if using gasoline then the recoil start won't work without a charged battery attached. I have tried it, and Champion customer service confirmed this.
