Answer:	The black wire connects to the battery or positive connection... The ground is obtained through the bolted connection of the jack base to the trailer tongue. Be sure that there is a good metal-to-metal connection when bolting the jack in place.

Question:	Do you wire it in as a hard wire or does it come with a plug to plug into your truck for power
Answer:	It does not come with a plug. You can put on to pull power off the 6/7 pin trailer plug on the truck, but make sure the tow vehicle is set up, most vehicles are wired from factory with this it has to be setup at the fuse box and battery. Or if the trailer has batteries on board (like a camper) it can be tied to those, just be sure to use the in line fuse that is provided.
Question:	In the description above it mentions a remote control for the jack. Does this model come with a remote
Answer:	Mine did not come with a remote. There is a different model number that does have a remote. I looked at that one before purchasing this one and decided that the cost wasn't in my budget. After installing this model on my travel trailer and having used it several times, I'm not even sure what the point of the remote is. It works great and I have no problems using the push button control that is on the jack itself.
Question:	If I am replacing my Husky 3000 with this one, will installation line up without much trouble
Answer:	I have not seen the 3000 I only have the 4000 but I replaced The manual Jack that I got with my new 2019 camper and the bolts were perfectly set for the 4000. I believe it is a universal fit for this product.

Answer:	It is the same jack in white. A significant savings. If you want it to match just pick up some paint appropriate for outdoor plastic applications. Why pay more for the same product.

Answer:	There is no difference at all other than the color. They both perform the same. For some reason, the white one is much cheaper. I bought the white one and it works exactly like my old black one.

Question:	Do these come with all bolts and screws and insturctions
Answer:	What you see in the picture is what you get. To mount them you have to drill your frame to match the holes in the jacks and bolt them to the frame. Or you can do as I do and just raise them against the frame when I need them. They are easy to use.
Question:	What is the approximate time to install them
Answer:	They come complete with mounting screws. My application was not a permanent mount. I cut two 2x4's and bolted them to the jacks. This provides a contact point for my boat trailer. I park my trailer in the yard, then put the jacks under the fram in the back. Crank them up and relieve the weight off the axle and tires some not all, then leave it there until I take the boat out. Simple crank down, leave the jacks where they sit, and reverse the process when I return. For leaving them on a trailer, I would imagine it would take 20 minutes to pre-drill the mounting holes and install them.

Answer:	They exrtend to 24".

Answer:	According to the stickers on the jacks they are American Made. They are extremely heavy duty. I have them on an 18,000lb fifth wheel and they will lift it. When collapsed they are about 6 inches high and about 24 inches in length. So 12 inches from the center. They should not stick out beyond the body of the camper. Hope this helps.
