Question:	Do you need a clutch in order for this to work
Answer:	4 gauge ought to work for most installations. If in doubt, look at the gauge of jumper cables. Cheap jumper cables are 12 feet and 10 gauge. Quality jumper cables are 20+ feet and 4 gauge. But it really depends on the length you need to run, and how many amps you will draw. A longer length has more resistance, and will require a thicker wire to remain safe.
Question:	Where can I find replacement bearing for the jack shaft
Answer:	They have the plastic insulated caps that fit pretty snugly. I have them mounted on the battery cover of my Slingshot, they are about 8” off of the ground poking out to the rear, but exposed to the weather. Another option that might work for you. On many cars, the 12v accessory plug is hot even when the key is off, so you could trickle charge thru that too, but you’d probably be limited to about 10-15 amps depending on your fuse size.

Answer:	The terminal measures 20.4mm which is too big for any of my terminals. I am sure it is fine for jump start or battery chargers but it does not fit a battery terminal. My battery terminals for reference are 18.7mm.

Answer:	I use them to trickle charge my battery in the race car... 2 amps It depends on the gauge of wire you use from the post to the battery, on how much current you can use...

Answer:	It depends on the desired charging load and length of wire. As the wire gets longer, a larger diameter wire is required. Generally 2 gauge wire is used but basic wire gauge tables are available on google to size the wire to your specific application. These lugs will accept any gauge wire with a 3/8" lug attached to the end.

The 46RE, 47RE and 48RE family of transmissions by the Chrysler Group, are fitted behind a wide variety of engine sizes, including diesel, and across various vehicle lines. They are also available in 2WD and 4WD configurations. Beginning at the start of production for model year 2005, Dodge trucks equipped with the 5.9L diesel and 48RE transmission were equipped with an electronically controlled Transmission Throttle Valve Actuator (TTVA). This Actuator has replaced the previous Throttle Valve Cable and all associated linkage. A push-in Transmission Range Sensor was implemented in model year 2002 to replace the screw-in Park/Neutral switch. The 46RE, 47RE and 48RE transmissions are all four speed fully automatic units with an electronic governor. They are equipped with a lock-up clutch in the torque converter. I measured the socket height alone and then again after mounted on the socket rail.*After installation, the 1/4" socket was lifted 0.488"*After installation, the 3/8" socket was lifted 0.456"*After installation, the 1/2" socket was lifted 0.419"If you leave the black vinyl end caps in place, that would add .050" to each of the dimensions provided above.
