| Answer: | I wired mine so that the first rocker was the power switch for the rest of the rockers. If this switch is in the off position, there is no power to any of the other ones. So there will be absolutely no Battery Drain. This switch itself uses no power when off. When On, the the only power Drain is from what you've wired to the other switches Which must be pushed to the On Position. |

You could also just run the black wire from the light bar to the neg term on the battery. Same thing and just put the switch in either the pos wire or the neg wire. Cut the wire and hook up each end to the term on the switch. When the switch is off its like cutting the wire and the light goes off. When you turn it on its like twisting the wires back together completing the circuit and the light goes on |

The switch will be used to activate/deactivate a relay. The relay is what will carry the high amperage.
