After installation, if you connect the ground then the light should come on when you switch it on and if you do not connect the ground then the light should not come on.

Answer:	Instructions are not included. I hope you do know that these are 12 volt lights and for them to work with house hold power (120 volts), you would have to use a 120 vac to 12vdc transformer. You would do better to buy 120 vac switches.

Answer:	It is ruffly about a 3/4 inch hole I just put in old truck and used a smaller but to round out hole until big enough. It does come with three (3) pins, hot in / hot out / and ground. Haven't used them much yet but when I do they work like they should. Hope I was help. Kyle
