At one foot from the horn, it was 112 dB. Save your money and buy a GOOD from a REPUTABLE seller like Car Quest, NAPA or O'Reilly Auto Parts. It will cost you more but you'll have something that is considerably louder than a flea fart in a Cat V hurricane.

Answer:	The best answer I can give is maybe..... I installed this horn on my 2013 Toyota FJ Cruiser. I did have to modify the mount as it was a bit tight to get it to fit on my vehicle. As long as you have some skills you should have no problem getting this horn to fit. I was able to modify the existing factory wiring on my vehicle to work with this new horn. I love the horn itself as it is loud but not overwhelmingly loud..... it sounds a bit like a dump truck horn. It is certainly loud enough to focus someone’s attention away from their cell phone and back to the task at hand.......Driving.
