1. Most single cylinder air cooled engines idle around 1400 RPM, if the RPM displayed too low, Set the firing pattern to 1P2R; If the RPM is too high, set more Sparks Per Revolution, such as 2P1R 3P1R 4P1R...
2. For 4 stroke 1 cylinder engines, Please try 1P2R first, if the RPM displayed is double the actual RPM, you should change the 1P2R to 1P1R, because the actual firing pattern for A Portion of 4 stroke 1 cylinder engines is ONCE PER REVOLUTION instead of ONCE PER 2 REVOLUTION.
