Answer:	I mounted this on my tractor which is in a shed most of the time when not in use. In a boat I would use some silicone to seal any opens that water could get to. Gauge has works as intended.

Question:	Can you change bulbs to LED
Answer:	The SP0F000046 Triple Gauge Kit uses bulbs that have a bayonet-style base. The bulb socket is a push in style. Bosch does not offer LED lamps with a base that will mount in the sockets in the SP0F000046 Gauges.Summit Racing offers LED bulbs made by Scott Drake that are built with a bayonet base. However, we have never tested these bulbs with the SP0F00046 and cannot confirm if the Scott Drake or other LED bulbs would fit in the Bosch bulb sockets.
Question:	Bought this gauge set amonth or so ago. Worked good for acouple of weeks now temp gauge only go's up too 120' or so
Answer:	It has to do with the line that goes to the gauge, from what I understand if it rubs against something or is bent too much, the line breaks . I have bought 3 of them and it has happened to all 3. I am looking to do something different, possibly an electric gauge.

Answer:	you run everything through the panel (wiring, tubing, anything attached) there's two long studs on the back of the gauges and some half squared backs that go On the studs synching down the gauges to the panel with some small 8mm nuts, if you ran everything before trying to install you didn't read the installation manuals. you'll need to take it all back to re run them through the panel itself, if your talking about a custom installation cut some material to the size needed then hole sawed some 52mm holes and used the same set up to lock them down.

Answer:	Dip the sensor end in boiling water or simply take a lighter to it. If the temp doesn t climb, you got a bad gauge. If the temp does climb, you have a bad professional.

Question:	Does this gauge require any additional fittings or attached directly to the existing oil pressure switch
Answer:	If your existing oil pressure gauge is a mechanical one there is a fitting in the kit that will let you hook the 1/8" nylon line to it and then things will work. If you have an electric gauge as I did I had to take the electrical sender out and install the nylon line adapter in and hook it up.

Answer:	Yes , the directions are pretty clear , ground it and signal from ignition source , so it only accumulates hours as it is running We wired ours to keyed power for simplicity , just don’t leave the key on !!

Answer:	The Bosch SP0F000060 Digital Hour Meter can be installed on a Westinghouse portable generator if the generator’s gasoline engine uses a 12 to 24 volt DC battery for starting the engine. The Hour Meter would have to be connected across the gasoline engine’s battery-charging circuit, not across the starting switch for the engine, and not across the generator’s AC output circuits. The Hour Meter will count as long as the DC voltage is applied to it (as long as the gasoline engine is running).

Answer:	While it should fit acceptably, I was unsuccessful in locating any views of the transmission. The sender in this kit has 1/8-28 NPT thread with adapters to common NPT sizes like 1/4 and 3/8". Thanks for the question.

Question:	can i use this tach on a FE290D kawasaki engine
Answer:	The SP0F000062 was not designed or tested for use on any small engine. The ignition system of the application would have to supply a 5 volt square wave reference for the tachometer to be accurate. The installer would have to contact the ignition system manufacturer to determine the compatibility to the gauge requirements.
Question:	anyone know how to change the bulb in this
Answer:	There is no bulb, it has pcb mounted led's. The unit is crimped together its not intended to be taken apart.

Answer:	There's a switch on it that you would put on 4 then you have to find where to kock up the wire for it to pick up the rpm but yes it will work they are a very good tack and look great to

Answer:	It comes with light and mount. I would not recommend. My heat gauge fell apart. Made in China. Very disappointed in Bosch.
Question:	Is there a reason the captive fitting shouldn't be threaded directly into the engine
Answer:	This fitting is designed to be screwed into the engine with the same thread and with a seat in the mating area to hold the bulb leak free. If your application doesnt have this design, we sell SP0F00007 adapter kit which has NPT adapters with the proper mating 5/8-18 with seat to capture the bulb. Thanks for the question.

Answer:	It should work. If the flexible tube is not long enough you can easily install an electrical temp. unit with unlimited wire length.
