Answer:	I would advise against it. This is only a CAT 2 rated meter. That means the internal safety features are not sufficient to handle the higher potential voltage and energy that could come about at a meter panel. http://www.ni.com/white-paper/5019/enYou really want a CAT 3 meter if you want to measure any live breaker panels.If you are going to test for bad circuit breakers that are disconnected from the live wiring then you could use this meter to check for continuity and the like. Do not use this meter on anything more powerful than a wall outlet. CAT 3 meters are available for not much more money.
Question:	What's the lowest ohm reading it is capable of
Answer:	Yes, the Innova is great for finding parasitic leaks in boats and cars. Turn everything off..... EVERYTHING and then disconnect the negative battery cable. Insert the meter in series with the neg bat terminal and the end of the cable. If there is a current leak it will show on the meter when it is set on the AMPS function. Becareful that you don't turn anything on when the meter is connected because the AMP mode is not fused. If a current reading shows on the meter start pulling fuses and disconnecting devices until the reading drops to zero therefore isolating the problem

Answer:	I'm assuming you have tried moving the main test mode selection dial to some position other than 'off'. Do you have another 9V battery on hand you could use instead? It's possible the battery you received with the tester is bad. If another battery does not solve the issue, then it's possible you received a bad unit.

Answer:	Are the protective probe sleeves on the probes? If not removed the exposed tip is too small to make contact by just inserting the probe into a standard outlet.

Answer:	CR123A and CR2 are 3-volt, tubular batteries. The meter's full scale is little more than 1.5 volts. The voltages are too high for this type of meter. Do not test these batteries.
Question:	Bought the klein et60 when put probes into a live power outlet to test it nothing happens? what am i doing wrong
Answer:	I purchased both the digital (Model BT 168D), and the analog (Model BT 168). Cheap enough and wanted to have them available in multiple locations without hunting it down each time such as basement, garage, other home. They both seemed to work until my electrical product failed. The analog showed battery still good, solid green reading. The digital read 1.3 volts for a 1.5 volt battery. I then checked against my higher quality voltmeter, which also measured 1.3 volts. Usually the analog has a red-yellow-green zone, but in this case the reading was definitely in the green zone, not even borderline. Since this happened I’ve tested on a few more batteries, and decided to throw the analog device out. Unless the battery is DEAD, the reading is misleading. In the digital era no point in wondering.

Answer:	22 gauge maybe they may be small but its not like it draws a enormous amount of power to make it work. I have one and it works great im running 4400 watts of RAAW true RMS power to 4 mofo 12's and no problem with the unit.

Answer:	Hello, I have it on my motorcycle and it is exposed to rain from time to time but the unit is sealed and so far it is working perfectly. That being said it should work on any 12 volt system, I'm not sure how it would work if soaked but I do wash my bike and don't even think about it as I'm washing. Answer:	According to product description has on/off switch that also switches function (read volts or percentage) I'm ordering-if not what its supposed to be, smooth dome face gauge w/on off switch I'll return but some of the reviews do give pause? curious- 5 responses but do not match item?
